The Maxwell is a stylish hotel located in the heart of San Francisco's theatre district and only one block from Union Square, the centre of the city's shopping district.

    We both with brother had a business trip to SF. Arrived at 2:30 AM, got our room in 5 mins; Then go to eat - there are 2 points across the street, working 24 hours. Went back and connected to WiFi Internet very easy from our room. Got no problem with this hotel. Very friendly personnel, decent surrounding. When checked out, left them our baggage for 3 hours, got taxi cab exactly in time. I'd happy to stay here next time again.

    HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
    By car
    From the South (SFO, San Jose):
    Take Highway 101 North and exit towards Bay Bridge. Take the 4th St/Last SF Exit and you will be on Bryant Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street, cross over Market Street and veer right; 3rd Street turns into Kearny Street. Turn left onto Geary Street. The Maxwell hotel is located on your right between Powell and Mason Streets.

    From the North (Marin, Napa/Sonoma, San Rafael):
    Take Highway 101 South and cross the Golden Gate Bridge. Turn right onto Van Ness Avenue, left onto Bush Street, right onto Powell Street and right again onto Geary Street. The Maxwell hotel is located on your right between Powell and Mason Streets. (Note: There is a $5.00 toll to cross the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco.)

    From the East Bay (Berkeley, Oakland):
    Take I-80 West towards Bay Bridge/San Francisco and exit at Fremont Street. Turn left onto Fremont Street, left onto Howard Street then right onto 3rd Street. Cross over Market Street and veer right; 3rd Street turns into Kearny Street. Turn left onto Geary Street. The Maxwell hotel is located on your right between Powell and Mason Streets. (Note: There is a $3.00 toll to cross the Bay Bridge into San Francisco.)

    Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. You cannot cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a non refundable or prepaid rate.
