We sought a place on the Cote D'Azur with reasonable prices and handicapped accessibility. This small hotel right across the street from the beach filled the bill. The couple who run the hotel were very nice. The breakfasts were terrific! We were particularly impressed with the small wooden ramps that allowed my husband, who walks on crutches, to get over the two-inch-high metal door frame. And their recommendation of nearby Mahi Restaurant for dinner was excellent. Handicapped accessible, and attentive staff (and good food). We really enjoyed the small town of Ste. Maxime. In early May, it was still pretty calm and easy for us to visit, unlike the nearby playgrounds of Cannes and St. Tropez.

Nice hotel, nice pool, nice beach across the road. Rooms clean and nice, but very narrow for 3 people. City-Center 4km away, no shop in walking distance. Nice german-speaking welcome, excellent quality/ price relationship!

Netter Service. Einziges Manko. Das Hotel liegt an der Straße Richtung St. Tropez.

small room that needed ventilating shutters not complete blockout - we needed air conditioning all night just for fresh air which was disappointing and we cancelled our return visit.

Nice family own B&B type hotel, excellent location, safe area with parking. Nothing fancy, simple but clean and a good value. Great location in front of a nice and quiet beach. Very close to area attractions. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Rooms on the second floor have a nice balcony with a sea view.

The Hotel and the 'Hosts' were excellent in terms of internal service I have to say, they went out of their way to help when they did not really need to. One aspect I think completely let the hotel down and made staying at the there an experience of extreme dissatisfaction for me was this: We (a small group of friends) booked a taxi through the Hotel to a rally site some 5km away and were charged 50euro for the trip. We thought at the time this was ridiculously expensive, though it was perhaps because the locale was busy or that there were 4 of us in the car. We were charged the same on the return trip. A couple of days later (due to a vehicle breakdown) I was forced to get a (different) taxi from a dealership some 17kms away back to the Hotel, which was charged at 34euro. Getting back to the dealership again the day after, the Hotel Host booked a Taxi for me - and guess what? they charged me 100euros!!! Exactly the same route at exactly the same time of day as the previous taxi. When I told the Hotel 'Hosts' about the discrepancy and if they knew the Taxi company they were promoting was systematically ripping off the guests she (in my opinion very poorly) feigned surprise. Though she did explain that they use this company almost exclusively (and you can see why!!) This is a Hotel rip-off so please beware. They (the hosts) have really let themselves down in this respect and turned what could have been a genuinely excellent stay into one of complete dissatisfaction.

An absolutely wonderful stay. We had plenty of room for the 4 of us (2 children) and the courtyard was an added bonus.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel nartelle. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, opposite the beach and about 5km from Ste Maxime centre. We would definitely stay here again.
