Hotel Le Golfe de Saint-Tropez - Cogolin Saint-Tropez

I was very dissapoiinted with this hotel. Although we tend to stay in budget minded hotels more often than not, this one really was below expectations. It is NOT near Saint-Tropez. It is not easy to drive to Saint-Tropez. A cab to St. Tropez is over 60Euros one way. We felt trapped in this hotel, in this sleepy town. We were supposed to stay two days. On the second morning we checked out and they were not very accomodating about our early check out. The staff is rude and unfreindly. The hotel lobby smells like a mix of old lady perfume and used cat litter. (I think they have a cat there) The rooms are nice. We didn't have much of a view, but there is not much to see in Cogolin. It was nice to take a break from our whirlwind drive across Europe and spend a quiet night in a quiet town, but Cogolin is not the kind of place you stay for two days. So we left. I would not stay here again, but that is mostly because I would not go back to Cogolin.

Small hotel not to far from St. Tropez. Prices are high everywhere at the Côte, but this hotel was not as expensive as those St. Tropez. Small rooms, but rather big bathroom. Clean. Some reasonable restaurants in the neighborhood.

Cogolin is a good choice to visit saint Tropez without spending a fortune. The room was not charming but quite clean and with a spacious bathroom. The hotel is not suitable for handicapped people, you have to go up many staicases to reach the room

Hotel itself is okay for the price. Employees speak only French. To St. Tropez centre you have to drive 9 kilometres.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön und wir sind glücklich, dass wir es ausgesucht haben.!!!!! Hier aber ein grober Fehler von Venere.com: DAS HOTEL LIEGT NICHT!!!!!! IN SAINT TROPEZ!!!!!! wie beschrieben. Wir kamen nach Saint Tropez, wollten die Sachen ins Hotel bringen, uns das Städtchen anschauen und einen wunderschönen Abend dort am Hafen verbringen. Stattdessen heizten wir mit dem Auto durch das Ort, suchten stundenlang das Hotel, bis wir die Straße fanden, wo sich das Hotel befinden sollte - und zum Glück auch einen netten Italiener, der im Hotel selbst angerufen hat, um festzustellen, dass es ca. 15 km von Saint Tropez entfernt liegt und die Rezeption nur bis 20 Uhr auf hat. Wir mussten also zuerst alles Andere lassen, ins Hotel fahren, um einzuchecken, und dann wieder zurück nach Saint Tropez. Um 21:30 Uhr war das Städtchen aber schon menschenleer.....der Tag war vorbei und unsere gute Laune auch.... Es wäre ein toller Tag gewesen, hätten wir gewusst, wo genau das Hotel liegt!!!! Für diejenigen, die jetzt wissen, wo das Hotel liegt: Bucht dieses kleine tolle Hotel! Alle sind sehr nett, das Frühstück ist köstlich, die Zimmer wunderbar leise! Wirklich empfehlenswert, wenn man kein Problem damit hat, dass es ein wenig ausserhalb liegt!
