We found the room to be very small,especially for long haul guests,with large suitcases. Room was very clean with a small but good bathroom. Une petite chambre! Room was comparitively quiet considering it was on a main thoroughfare. We would return but with overnight bags.

Spent 4 nights in a triple room on the top floor with small balcony. The hotel is very conveniently situated within the walls of St Malo and has recently been refurbished. The room was very spacious, clean and facilities were excellent (but bring your own kettle if you need to brew up regularly!). The 'third' bed was in fact a double sofa bed - much better than usual for triple rooms. Didn't try the breakfast but overall was very pleased and would certainly go there again.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
From Paris and Rennes by Highway A11: take Saint-Malo exit from RN137 road, then follow road signs to Saint-Malo Centre. To enter the city, you are offered three options:
- You can leave your car in one of the public parking areas outside the fortified town.
- In winter, you just have to enter the city by Saint-Vincent Gate, then turn into the third road on your right.
- In summer, Saint-Vincent Gate is closed. So you have to enter the city by Saint-Louis Gate.

By train
The train station is located 15 minutes walking from the hotel.

By airplane
The nearest airport is Dinard-Pleurtuit-Saint-Malo, 6,2 miles/10 km from Saint-Malo. Rennes airport is 78 km (48.5 miles) away. From the airport, take a taxi to Rennes central station, then take the train to Saint-Malo.

By boat
Several companies offer daily ferry services to/from Ireland, England and Anglo-Norman islands.
