Saas-Almagell is the southernmost village in the Saas Valley, 2.5 miles/4 km from Saas-Fee, and is situated at 1 mile/1600 meters above sea-level. This family-friendly resort boasts an idyllic atmosphere and owes its fame to three ski stars: Pirmin, Heidi, and Silvan Zurbriggen. The chair-lift takes you to Furggstalden (1900 meters), and on to Heidbodme (2400 meters).

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
By car
From the north: via Bern through the Lötschberg tunnel (car-train).
From the east: take the Furka pass (or car-train).
From the south: via the Simplon pass (or car-train).
From the west: you reach the Saas Valley via Lausanne and through the Rhone Valley to Visp.
By train
From Brig, or Visp: change to the post bus with the direct destination of Saas Fee. The bus runs every 30 minutes until 8.45 p.m. from Brig, and until 9.10 p.m. from Visp.
