We were given a big room on the 5th floor. About the only downside was no separate shower - had a shower head on a hose attached to the bath taps.
Hotel is centrally located and has free parking on weekends and carpark close by for weekday parking (9.50E per day as I remember).

We found the staff were unhelpful and the room positively tiny!
The breakfast was of good quality but the price was not good value.
We will be looking elsewhere next time we stay in Rouen.

The receptionist when I checked in was surly and unwelcoming but happily all the other staff seemed to be friendly and helpful. The room was fine, if a little of a strange shape with a lage space between the bed and the TV - it would have been better to have a chair in that space. The bathroom (shower rather than bath) was good and spacious. The position was very good - central and near to a lot of good restaurants. I would definitely consider staying there again.

Wasn't impressed with the external of the hotel, but booked it due to the location being so central. The room was great, just having been redecorated, it was clean and really comfortable (great showers too!). Parking couldn't of been easier, with a muti-storey car par just around the corner. Location wise I thought Hotel D'l Europe was just excellent, right on the edge of one of the best shopping towns (in my opinion), and restaurants and bars within minutes walk. Breakfast was very good value for money, and high quality. I left an item of jewellery behind at the hotel, which wasn't discovered until I was nearly back in the UK. On calling the hotel, the manager new what I was calling about as soon as I gave over my room number, he then promised me he would send the ring to me as soon as he recieved confirmation of my address. It was returned to me with in a week. Would highly recommend this hotel in every aspect.

De toda la visita a Normandia es el hotel donde la relación calidad/precio ha sido mejor. Parece casi un NH en pequeño. Está muy bien situado, a 5 minutos de la catedral y muy fácil de encontrar.

Great location just off the old town area. Easy parking just across the road. Hotel staff pleasant and helpful. Very good breakfast. Rooms are small but reasonably well equiped. Overall very good value for a central location city hotel.

I was impressed with both the hotel and the service supplied by the Venere.com website. I had booked a week in France, each night in a different hotel. Venere.com and the hotel De l'Europe were the easiest to arrange.
