Situacion inmejorable.

It's a small, but very nice hotel, great communicated and within walking distance of the main attractions in Rome. The people working were extremely nice, polite and helpful, they really helped us to fully enjoy our time in Rome. Small but nice and clean rooms, the hotel is in the second floor and is fully renovated. The breakfast was good enough and the girls working there, were very friendly.
I will come back!

The hotel was immaculate. The security was great. The staff were the most wonderful people, and helped us with our questions, and gave advice on how to make our stay more pleasurable.Vito and other desk managers were helpful in getting us picked up at airport, even when we came in on a different flight. The housekepping girls were sweethearts, and made sure we had everything we needed, whether it be our breakfast, or rearranging their cleaning time of room . It is a wonderful place to stay and has a great location for everything in Rome.

It was our first time we stayed at the Hotel Le Petit. First of all I would like to say that the location of the hotel was very good (not far from the Rome Termini). Employees at the hotel reception were very friendly and competent. They gave us all necessary information about cafes and small restaurants near the hotel. Also they described the possible ways of Rome sighseeing. As for the room it was clean and comfortable.

This was the final and most expensive hotel we stayed in during our 24-days in Italy and the most disappointing. It is far too expensive for what you get. We stayed in a quad which simply was a regular room with the sofa pulled out, consequently, very cramped quarters. My daughters, ages 10 and 12, complained that it was the most uncomfortable bed they had slept on, they could feel the bars underneath. The room was clean and modern but the shower is tiny. The breakfast was in a tiny, sweltering room and sparse. There wasn't a toaster available nor was fruit offered. It was nice that they offered free computer use but guests use the front desk's computer so there is no privacy and I felt rushed to get off. The location is good. It seemed perfectly safe and we easily walked to the Colisseum area and the metro stop is very close. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station so we could easily get to the airport for our 10 a.m. flight. In retrospect, we would have stayed at a less expensive hotel on the metro line and taken it to the train station instead of hoofing it.

Although the room was quite small, it was very clean and furnished/decorated to a high standard. Reception staff were very helpful, breakfast was adequate, and all in all good value for money. Good location, close to bus stops, and ten minutes walk from Termini. Would stay there again.

Good value for money in city centre. Rooms small but clean and very adequate. Next to main street with transport, buses and metro within yards of hotel. Would return again. Not flashy but ideal for short break with little time spent in hotel.

All the staff are very welcoming & helpful, the room although small was large enough, very clean and well cleaned daily. The lacked tea & coffee making facility was disappointing. The hotel location great with all the main sights in walking distance if you like. Or as we did take the tour buses. If I was to return I would stay there again & would recommend the hotel & web site, verere, to my friends.

Really charming hotel, perfectly located (walking distance from termini station). I would call it a great find, if I had discovered it myself instead of having found it on venere.com. When you take a look at it from the street you wouldn´t give it a second look as the facade is absolutely plain and doesn´t make justice to this very, very nice hotel. Rooms are very small, but since the roof is rather high, there is a sense of "small but confy". And they are very confortable, spotless, well laid out, and have everything you may need to have a good night´s sleep. The staff are very, very nice. Everyone I talked to, from the breakfast room ladies to the men in the reception. I arrived into Rome at midnight, tired after a delayed flight, and when I got to the hotel found a very nice, welcoming gentleman (a mature man whose name I didn´t ask) who is an example of what every front desk person should be. So based on my experience, I absolutely reccomend this hotel.

Great location, nice building, friendly staff. The actual room my wife and I stayed in was very small. The shower was very small and not a very comfortable experience. The hotel looked as if it had been recently renovated - new fixtures and fittings, etc. However some things did not work as they should. For example the shower door did not close fully and one put a spray of water on the floor every time one took a shower.

Le Petit is the best hotel we have been in during our stay in Rome. It is 2 blocks to the termini and either walking distance or a few train stops to the Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain. The staff is very courteous and helpful, esp. Gianni. The hotel is newly renovated, clean and ample for our group of 4. I will use the same hotel on my next visit to Rome.

Very friendly and helpful - reception and breakfast staff were great.
Convenient location, easy access to most of the sites and transport.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff
was very helpful and pleasent. They helped get us transportation from the airport and to our cruise ship. The transportation was on time and
the price quoted was exact. The area where the hotel was in was close to the train station and major attractions we could walk to. The staff clould not have been nicer. I would stay
definately there again.

My brother, his wife, my sister, her husband and I stayed at this hotel. We were all highly satisfied. The balconies really added to the enjoyment of this hotel. Vito, Gianni, and the two wonderful women who served breakfast and cleaned the rooms were outstanding and made our stay memorable. Being near transportation, shopping and most of the important monuments, ruins, fountains and good restaurants was perfect. Vito and Gianni made our tour & restaurant reservations, made taxi calls, and ordered our return shuttle to the airport. Couldn't have been more pleased!!!!

Hotel is in convenient location. Lobby and entrance is very clean. Breakfast was good. Room was very small for 3 people and bathroom was very small. Beds were the hardest we slept on in Italy. On one night of the stay, the electricity must have gone out in middle of night and security light came on shining directly on our bed. We didn't know what was happening and discovered there were no instructions in the room on how to call the front desk. The next morning when we asked what happened, the front desk staff had no idea.

I was very happy with the location of the property, managed to walk to nearly every site I visited. the single room is really small, but clean and one of the reception staff upgraded me to a double room on my last night there, which was very spacious. the breakfast was good, simple with great coffee. free wifi access in the loby which was very helpful and the staff where extreemly helpful with tours and restaurant selections.

Overall the hotel is ideal - well located (less than a minute from the metro) and the hotel staff are very pleasant. The only negative point fom the trip was that the air conditioning didn't work - we arrived early on a Saturday and highlighted it straight away but it wasn't fixed even on Monday despite promises to do so. We were lucky that we could leave the window open during the day and it wasn't too hot at night. During the summer this would not have been an option. Apart from this it was great - would stay there again.

Arriving after a longhaul flight from Australia I was greeted by Gianni who was warm and welcoming! In fact all of the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful during the duration of our stay. The accommodation and facilities of Hotel Le Petit exceeded our expectations - the staff of the breakfast room were very pleasant and the breakfast itself was great. The location of the hotel was ideal for easy access to the Metro and local buses to 'get around' in Rome. This property provided far better value than hotels we have stayed in on (3) previous visits to Rome.Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel to visitors to Roma!

The staff was very efficient, friendly but not overly so. The rooms were very clean with a modern edge. If you are expecting big rooms then you will be dissappointed but they are not any smaller than other hotels we stayed at in Rome. We stayed in the balconied double one night (get it if available!) and a standard double the other. The standard is tight but we didn't spend much time in the room other than sleeping, nor should you! As for noise, it is no different than any other hotel (pricey or cheap) that has double paned glass and faces the street. We slept good, and my fiancee is a light sleeper.
The only complaint would be that the doors to the room should be heavier and soundproofed, to cut out hallway noise. If you had a noisy group in the hall that would definitely wake you up.
There is not much to see on your door step but a short walk(3-5mins) gets you to the metro and a 10+ minute walk gets you by the Trevi fountain and some other sights. For us this was good because walking really is the best way to get a feel for how big and little the city really is, and catch some small architectural details you wouldn't have caught otherwise.
If the price is right and you aren't planning to spend the day in your room, it is a great find. Get the Balcony room, pick up some drinks from the nearby store and enjoy the sounds of the roman streets as you wait for eachother to get ready for your night out!

The room was small but fine for the price. It could have been quieter; even though it was on the fourth floor it was still a bit loud. However the location was great and for being so central it wasn't too loud. The breakfast was bigger than the typical Italian breakfast, with a lot of hot drinks on offer.

The staff was welcoming, friendly and most helpful. Breakfast was provided. The rooms were very, very small. As, I suppose, the name suggests. They were clean and well-equipped.
The hotel is within walking distance of the Termini, as well as the Metro. Many decent restaurants nearby.

Le Petit was perfect for our one night stay. I'm not sure if we would like to spend a week there, but for a convenient, well situated nice clean and comfortable room at a good price for Rome, this place was perfect. We had a balcony,(just french doors really as we couldn't get out) and a decent sized, newly renovated room (felt it wasn't quite done), with a third sleeper which doubled as a cushy lounge chair(no extra) . We did read other comments, and from this I get the impression that the room we had was definitely one of the better, but we were both very happy all round. We initially missed the street to turn into, but once there, we found we were very happy with the location. Breakfast was ordinary, with no ham, being a one night stay tho, it wasn't really a problem. The front counter staff were helpful and friendly and welcoming, but, being such a small hotel, I think the service was dependant upon the individual on shift at the time. I would definitely stay there again.

Le Petit perfectly served as a rest stop between our arrival in Italy and our rail trip to Umbria. Since we were only staying for one night we didn't make special requests. We received a very small, but comfortably appointed and sound-insulated room next to the Reception area. Coming from Manhattan, we thought it was still a good deal at 160E. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the many sights in the area. At night, the streets around the hotel were well lighted and felt safe. The only discrepancy we feel necessary to point out is that the 300m distance measures only from the edge of the Termini parking lot to the hotel. Note that the station itself is vast and the lot is a few blocks long, so if you're not a light packer be prepared for a schlep.

Our stay at Le Petit was excellent. The room that we got was newly renovated with airconditioning, beautiful, modern and spaceous bathroom, plasma flat-screen TV. Overall, the room exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was traditional continental breakfast and it was great. Staff was kind and pleasent. I would highly recomend this hotel to everyone who is visiting Rome. It is close to train station and we walked to all attracctions in Rome. Overall, excellent hotel. You won't be disapointed if you stay there. At least we were not.

We really liked the hotel. It had the usual problems you find with older European hotels--small rooms, no-frills bathrooms and breakfast. We picked this hotel because it is in a really convenient location, just off Via Nationale, easy walk to the train Terminal and (Republica) metro station. Prices were reasonable by Rome standards and it was one of the few places that had rooms available on the dates we were going to be in Rome. And it had a room with a great little terrace that you see in the hotel pictures. Traffic is noisy, but the windows are amazingly sound-proof, and they have air conditioning. It had a good shower (none of those miserable hand-held things). The hotel is on the second-to-fourth floors in a building undergoing renovations. It will be gorgeous once that's done. The front-desk staff and breakfast-room staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was not fancy, but included capuccino, bread and croissants with pates and jams and cookies, plus juice and a selection of cereals, including All Bran.

There never was a quiet moment at this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights and couldn't sleep one whole night during our entire stay. The night-staff brought all their friends over so we had to listed to loud conversations in Italian... We liked the area and the closeness to Termini but everything else was really bad.

Gianni helped us with everything we needed and things we didn't even know we needed. The hotel was very close to all transportation. It was wonderful in every way. If you need internet access, the rooms on the first floor have it in the rooms but they are working on all the floors. They were very kind and let me use the one at reception and print anything I needed to get my work done. I would definitely go there again.

Very good location - very close to subway, the train station (within walking distance), and several other sights. Rooms were recently upgraded and were very modern, which was nice. Rooms were a bit small, and fairly noisy, as it is on a pretty busy street. The staff was very helpful, and they even upgraded our room for a night. The breakfast was subpar - it mostly consisted of biscuits and jelly, and even the coffee wasn't that good - I would recommend skipping it and going elsewhere. Overall, a pretty good deal, as long as you don't plan on spending a lot of time in the hotel.

Le Petit can be seen as a practical hotel. It's location is quite close to the train terminal and this is probably its biggest selling point. For actively touring Rome, however, I'm not terribly fond of this area of town -- I prefer something around Piazza Navona as a nice central base of operations.
I stayed at Le Petit after returning to Rome from Napoli and waiting on a flight out. The staff was really helpful and both they and the season were very accomodating considering that I showed up a day earlier than my reservation.
The hotel offers both a room with a terrace and a room without, which during the time I stayed (11/05) cost the same per night. With the rooms being small and the price being equal it sure pays to opt for the terrace.
On the bad side, the hotel doesn't offer quality Internet access - at the time I stayed, Internet access was provided in the main lobbey behind the check-in counter. Both privacy and atmosphere were wrong.
Also, the breakfast here generally sucks - just very bland, no buffet-style pick-and-choose, but a lot of prepackaged material.
Rooms and bathrooms were clean, staff was great, and I'd stay there again if the circumstances were appropriate.
