Perfect location if you want to be near the train station. We were passing through Rome so this was a necessity. The concierge at this hotel was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size (there were 4 of us) with a double bed and 2 pull outs. Close to shops, a good restaurant. I'd stay there again. It has an old fashioned lift which is quite small but interesting!

Great Hotel. Great ubication; two blocks from station. I would come back again. I got a great deal for this hotel.

The hotel location is excellent. It's near the Termini train station where public transportation is readily available. The room is small, but livable. Sound proof is poor. You can hear all the noises outside your door. The breakfast is not appealing. The biggest disappointment is the untrue advertizement about free internet connection. Not only there's no free internet, there is no internet at all.

This was a great hotel, very close to Termini and other tourist spots. Room was very good, large by European standards. We would certainly use this hotel again.

The hotel is split into two buildings. We were in the secondary building without the reception area. It was newly renovated and nicely decorated, with a nice marble bathroom. Rooms in Rome tend to be smaller than North American standards, but the cleanliness and central location were nice. Also very close to the Termini so if you are doing any day trips or traveling within Italy, or simply using the train to get to and from the air port it is not too far to walk with your bags.

Hotel front desk staff were great and happy to assist in oure itinery planning. The hotel is very close to the Coleseum and ruins. Room itself was great and bathroom facilities nice enough. In-house movies were available in English. Only weird thing was the cleaner seem to be playing shanangins with chocolates in our mini-bar, nothing that we bothered contesting or that broke the bank.

The hotel is very good situated. You can reach all monuments by feed and also the metro station is very near. The personal at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and you have a lot of space there. The only thing is the breakfast which offer only sweet things, this may by changed a little bit, because not everybody likes that. But for a few days trip to Roma, this is a really nice hotel and we are sure, when we come to Rome again, we will stay there again.

The hotel arranged a transfer for us from the airport which was great(45Euro). Fantastic location right near the bus and train terminal. We had an attic room in an adjacent building which was huge and extremely quiet, queen bed and 2 singles. The reception staff were ever so helpful and delight in telling the sites to see and the best way to see them. They also give you a map that have all the sites on it. We found the location was just fantastic as you were so close to everything. We chose to do the sites on the hop on hop off bus which enabled us to get around the majority of the sites in 2 FULL days. Just a hint if visitng Vatican City, walk up towards the entrance and look for people offering guided tours. These tours are inexpensive and enable you to skip the enormous lines ( 2-3hours) and are extremely informative. We did the same thing at the Colessium and would never have learn't as much without it.

Employees were very nice and helpful. Morning breakfast was well prepared and had plenty of food. The noise associated with the morning breakfast was very loud considering the closeness of our room to the breakfast area. We had great difficulty sleeping after 0730. Could not find anyone to make us a drink at the Bar. We believe the bar area as shown on the Web Page was mostly for show. An actual bar tender was not available for all three days of our stay. The cost of the room was very reasonable for Rome and the closeness of the train/bus station was a plus. We would not return to the property due to the lack of night life and that the hotel lies on a back street which produced an uneasy feeling at night when walking around the area.

Rome is expensive these days in US dollars so finding something nice under 160Euros must be hard. The hotel room was in another building next door and up a few floors, but nice and renovated and very clean and stylish. It was also quite convenient to the train station but the room we had was quiet in the back. The main criticism was the poor quality of breakfast. The coffee was terrible

Hotel Welcome is located next to the station Roma Termini, so it is very simple to reach it by train. It is in a good position for buses and underground. Rooms are comfortable, cleaned and wide. The only little problem is the noise that comes from the in front road. In any way, Rome is a beautiful town.

The written directions to the hotel from the train station are wrong. After the final turn it is several blocks to the hotel, not 50 meters as stated. This was a terrific hotel and I would recommend it for value and size (we had a quad room which was great). Good access to metro and buses at the train station. If you don't mind a little walking you can easily get to any attraction in Rome from here.

After checking in, we were informed that our room was two doors down in an unmarked and unstaffed office/apartment building. Our room was on the 6th floor there were no phones available for our use. There was also no water pressure and sometimes no water. The room was noisy from adjacent businesses and very noisy neighbors. The breakfast was horrible and the space was too small for the number of guests at the hotel. We complained to hotel staff, but management refused to speak with us and the front desk staff refused to move our room or help with the problems encountered.

ASSOLUTAMENTE CONSIGLIATO!!

This hotel gives you what you pay for: a clean room (with breakfast) next to the Termini. They don't give anything extra, but you don't pay for anything extra. The rooms are spacious, hot and good-pressured water, and the beds are nice and firm. Good value.

When we arrived we booked a suite for 4 people and what we got were two small rooms that were freezing and no hot water pressure to make use of the jacuzzi bath. Luckily when we complained we were promptly transferred to an apartment next door which looked like the photos in the brochure. Much more spacious and actually warm. The was still a shortage of hot water for 4 people but was a nice apartment. I wouldnt recommend this hotel if you are used to 4 star accommodation!

Great location and the rooms were perfect. I noticed that it looked like they were renovating rooms on other floors, so I'm betting we got one that was recently renovated. The only concern we had was noise from the street - the windows weren't thick enough to block that out. But we needed to stay near the Termini so it was to be expected that it was a bit loud.

The hotel is 5 minutes on foot from the Roma-Termini train station. Exit to the left, turn left onto via Giolitti and then right onto via Gioberti; after 150 metres/492 feet turn right onto Via Amendola. The hotel is several blocks ahead.
