This hotel is very very close to the station Termini. Arriving after dark with a big suitcase, it was really convenient. The room was spacious and I was very satisfied also for welcome drinks and room amenities.

The hotel was exactly as we expected from the website and reviews. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful especially when dealing with the theft of a credit card in a pickpocketing incident on the metro - TAKE CARE!
We would definitely use this hotel again if we were to return to Rome.
Breakfast was excellent and there is a good selection of restaurants around the hotel for dinner.
For sight seeing we can recommend the 'Ciao Roma' open top service from Piazza Esquilino (5 minutes down hill).

The room at Bettoja Atlantico was one of the nicest I've stayed at in Rome. It was spacious, well-kept, and nicely climate controlled. There was plenty of hot water in the shower and lots of comfy towels. Breakfast was included in the adjoining hotel and was a full spread. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and you can't beat the location if you want to be near Termini. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was not very friendly but they were efficient and competent. Our room was warm despite running the air conditioner at the maximum setting all night. When we mentioned this to the desk clerk, he didn't seem to care.

Great hotel, really close to the train station. We got to the hotel early in the morning and they checked us in to two of the rooms that were ready. Then they kept our bags all day after we had checked out. Wonderful staff. Very accommodating. Even let me use the hotel phone to make a phone call because I hadn't gotten a phone card yet.

On the negative side: the rooms were noisy! Partly, unavoidably, because the subway passed right underneath the hotel. But partly, too, because some work had been done on the walls, leaving a panel, through which (Room 203) we could hear the person in the next room taking a long, long bath. Positively speaking: the service was fine. Especially, we'd like to thank the people at Reception, Mr. Pameleiro (spelling?) but the entire staff.

Great location, right by the station,& close to several Irish bars. Beds were a little firmer than i prefer at home. Could have done with tea making facilities in the room, or somewhere. (its not easy to find a decent cuppa in town either). Would have been more use than the ubiquitous minibar.
Web access in the lobby was good.
I found the Venere website very easy to use ,& with the best layout... & would book with them again.

Nice hotel very close to Roma Termini. Rooms were of a good standard. Breakfast has not too bad. Staff were happy to store our bags in a locked baggage room for a late departure. Overall satisfied with the hotel.

Upon our arrival at Hotel Bettoja Atlantico, we were informed that we had been bumped next door to Hotel Mediterraneo. No big deal, as our bags were transferred and taken care of.
The front desk personnel at Mediterraneo seemed arrogant and clueless to our circumstances, and we were forced to wait several minutes before we were allowed to check in.
Upon checking out, they again failed to impress me, as I had reserved airport transportation along with my initial reservation. I was forced to walk next door to Bettoja, when a simple phone call would've sufficed.
The hotel itself is beautiful, and has all the comforts one would expect in a hotel in this price range.
The doormen and baggage staff were very helpful during our stay. It's a pity that their attitude doesn't carry over to the front desk personnel.

We stayed at the Altantico with our 3 years old toddler for 9 days, intending to use Rome as the hub to sightseeing around Rome area.
The triple room we booked came with a balcony facing the back of the hotel thus the overall room size is slightly smaller for 3 beds. Being on the top floor in summer makes it slightly warmer then comfort during the daytime. The furnitures in the room is slightly oldish but the bathroom is well equipped and modern. TV reception in the room is not be ideal, and there is only 1 english channel (CNN) and very limited children programs.
Hotel staff from Front Desk to Housekeeping are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served in the adjacent hotel with daily supply of scramble eggs and bacon. The hotel (and its sister hotel Mediterraneo) caters for package tours thus the hall may be quite packed in the early morning with mad rush for breakfast. However, if you go down after 730am, normally the breakfast hall is quite empty and the staff maybe free enough to serve you cappucino instead of the regular pot of coffee.
The Front Desk is able to help booking local sightseeing tours as well as calling cabs. They can also help with transfers to/fro the airport at a fixed price.
Several tour guides discribed Termini area as rowdy but we find it quite pleasant and convenience. Being located next to the Termini means we have the convinience of the train and subway service. However in Rome most of the favorite locations are not on the subway route thus be prepared to walk or commute by cabs, buses or local tour services. There are plenty of restaurants, pizzerias, snack bars and fast food within walking distance from the hotel; we also managed to find supermarkets and local tour agencies nearby.
