the hotel provides vary kinds of rooms.some are new deco-ed,some are old furnitured.every room has different size.we changed our room in our first stay, the staff was very helpful and provided many choices to us.as a four star hotel, the prices is a bit higher and the breakfast is not so tasty as we expected.but the breakfast in terrace is a good idea.

I had stayed Alpi for honeymoon. Though it is nice hotel totally, I think it will be much more high rating if price be lower than Euro190 such as Euro100~150 on current condition
or
much more survice-provide + comfortableness-provide.

First time in Italy and we had no idea of what to expect. Overall we were pleased with the hotel. Service was okay after we checked in. Before though was a challenge. We waited for 2hours for them to get our room ready. But after visiting Italy that is just the way everything is there. They take their time with everything. Room was more than what we expected. Very clean and beds were comfy. The included breakfast was a basic continental; pastries, cereal, fruit, and of course meat and cheese tray. It did the trick and kept us full until dinner. The terrace in the pictures is exactly as portrayed, very pretty. It is ashame that it is not utilized more. The breakfast room was on the ground floor and it would have been nice to enjoy the breakfast on the terrace. Which was a couple of floors up. To far to carry your food to. We stayed in a less expensive room in Florence and there is a difference when you pay an extra 50 euros and I feel well worth it. We visited at the end of May and it was very hot and humid, so if you plan on visiting around the same time make sure your room you book as an air conditioner or you will be miserable. In addition, the location was great. It was within walking distance from the train station.(Which also includes the bus station and the underground metro) So do not be fooled by the taxi drivers, it is a short walk. Save your money for the great shopping. The rooms themselves were very quiet, the only problem was the windows did not block out any of the outside noises. So if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs or book a room facing away from the street. If you do not feel like eating out everyday there is a market (mercato) less than a block away and they carry everything you need. Last but not least, when you check out double check your bill. I noticed on ours and the other groups we were with that there were added costs that we did not incur; mini bar, extra night of crib use, and etc.

Personale molto scortese. Colazione povera.

We are a family with 2 children. I was so disappointed with this hotel. Upon our arrival, the desk clerk was cold and unwelcoming. We went to our room and the bathroom looked like there were cigarette ashes on the floor and in the toilet. We asked the have it cleaned, which was done promptly. We were told that there had been a rainstorm and that dirt flew in the window. Since all the windows were closed, I'm not sure how this could have happened. The rooms look nothing like what is on the web. The web rooms look elegant and inviting. The furnishings are completely different than what is actually in the rooms. Our room was old, unimaginative with permanently stained carpeting. We were so disappointed that we asked to see another room, but it was exactly the same. The rooms need to be remodeled badly. The bathrooms were great by the way--clean and modern. The breakfast included no hot food--no eggs or meet, only cereals, yogurt, and breads. This is described as a 3-star hotel but on the door of the hotel there are 4-stars. Not sure what this means. I would never stay here again.

The location is excellent within easy walking distance from Termini and sites. The staff (especially Saverio) were very friendly and helpful. Rooms on the front have a bit of street noise to contend with, but not a problem for me.

We stayed for two nights, and we had to change rooms after one night. Since renovation was going on there were some old rooms and new rooms, and they gave us an old room before we complained. But except for this, all the personnel are very nice, the rooms very clean and especially the renovated rooms very modern and comfortable. Excellent quality/price deal!

Hotel ALpi is located just few blocks down the train station. The size of the room was ok, with a spacious bathroom, so no complain. The guy at reception was polite enough but didnt offer enough help and information for the questions on sight seeing tours. What I'd say, he's just doing his job. Breakfast was ok. One thing I find it unacceptable was the hotel is charging 8 euros per room per day per laptop/computer for internet users. Meaning if you have 2 laptops you have to pay double. Where there is free internet at any other hotels I stayed in Italy even just a small hotel, this was certainly the biggest disadvantage.

Perfect little hotel, within very easy walking distance of the Termini station. Had asked for quiet rooms, so did end up in the top of the hotel - needed to walk through and use two lifts - but not a problem - especially to ensure quiet and privacy. There was renovation work going on but it was never a problem, never in the way, and never noisy. I'd have no hesitation going back.
Rooms very modern, comfortable, and great bathroom with multi-shower. Not huge - but fine nonetheless.
We were a young couple with an older couple - and the hotel suited us both. Excellent value for money. Staff - and I mean everyone we came into contact with, were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
This is the perfect tourist hotel - great location. Near all bus and train routes, and close to stations for both metro lines - saving time changing.
And last but not least, it has the best breakfast of any hotel I've stayed at in Italy. Lots of choice, fresh, and constantly replenished - cereals, fruit juices, proper coffee, meats, cheeses and good choice of breads, fruit, and usual croissants and sweet breads.
I'd wholly recommend staying here - we got it for 75 euros a night. Great value.

It was my first time in Roma and I have been very pleased with Hotel Alpi. The room was small but the size was ok as we were here only to sleep ! The room was clean and very well decorated, as well as the bathroom.
The breakfast was good with a large choice. The only defect was the orange juice, not fresh.
Just one thing a little unpleasant is that we could hear our neighbour when he took his shower. But it was just once a day and it was ok anyway.
The staff is competent and helpful.

Our hotel experience was extremely positive. The welcome from the staff was lovely and our room, even though small, was comfortable and value for money. The hotel is in a good location - walking distance to many main sites and close to Termini which is excellent for airport transfers.
The breakfast was very good with all food options being constantly replaced throughout the three hour service slot.
Overall a very pleasant stay!

This was my first visit to Rome , i was taking my husband for a surprise Birthday ,so i was delighted with the Hotel, the room was not quite as shown on photo but we had plenty of room , great shower with jacuzzi bath , which is fabulous after a day walking round Rome, we had a balcony and the air con was great especially with the hot weather, breakfast was good though we did not get to eat on the terrace as detailed. The hotel is walking distance to most attractions and the tour bus stop is 5 mins away next to the train station, Transfer from the airport is easy on the train for only 8 euros, though be warned the surrounding area is very squalid and smelly.

The room was a good standard for Rome, although room decor was a little tired with a lot of smoke stains.
Bathroom was very good size but with no shower wall unit or shower curtain it was very difficult to have anything but a bath.

This is an excellent hotel, within walking distance from Roma Termine and would definately go back again. The room, a standard double, was very modern with a great ensuite and so quiet - you would never guess you were in the middle of Roma! A little bit more expensive that we wanted, but we wanted good quality, which is what we got. The continental breakfast was also adequate & very enjoyable. Would definately recommend it.

Our2 day stay in Rome followed an 11 day Mediterranean cruise. We chose this hotel for easy access to Trains to the Airport and from Civitavecchia.
Excellent location as far as close to the Termini. We were able to walk for 20 minutes to get to Villa Borghese & Spanish steps easily.
We had a wonderful traditional meal at a nearby restaurant, La Famiglia for very reasonable. Other than all the stairs, the hotel was very nice.

I think the receptionest wasn't having a great day, but it was our first night in Italy...after that we saw very nice people at the reception desk. My husband and I were traveling with out the kids, perfect room for a couple...small but just right for the two of us, especially spending all day out.coming back for a nice, clean room was perfect. the bathroom is nicley designed i loved it (I am an interior designer). The breakfast was great to start a long day. good coffee.a walk from the bus and train station. our room was in the third level, i think. we had to go to the second level, walked from there then took the hyrolick elevator to the third! it was always funny to get there. used it as an excersise:)

Alpi is a really lovely hotel. It is about five blocks east of Termini and a short walk to the major sites. It has white marble floors, a helpful, multi-lingual staff, spacious rooms with tall ceilings and a first-rate breakfast. Enjoy!

Typical hotel near the Termini on the better side of the train station. Area was relatively clean and quiet and a short walk from the train. The terrace is advertised as a place to have a drink etc but was not staffed the evening we were there. The desk clerk said he would send the "boy" up with something if we wanted. We declined finding the term objectionable.

Alpi is a little gem of a hotel by the termini. I was very pleasantly surprised with the room, which was modern and very clean (though snug and cozy, though I liked that), and the hotel was a steal for only 95 euros that particuar night for a double room. I would recommend it for anyone who needs to be by the termini - you may find it harder to get into the center of Rome but you will get a better price and can always take buses or taxis very easily.

Even though the hotel isn't in the greatest area being near the Termini, the hotel was very nice and convenient for travel by train. Our room had a private balcony, was clean, and ready upon our arrival. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again on any future visits to Rome.

The hotel was clean, well appointed, and overall nice, located a short three blocks from Roma Termini and Piazza del Repubblica. At night with the window open onto the street, one can appreciate the sounds of a big city: cars, emergency vehicles, or singing pedestrians walking past after a late night out. We would consider staying there again for the central location.

Been a long time since I stayed here - came to site to rate another hotel and found this one with no rating. I had a fabulous time here. Room was smallish, but big enough.... Little touches make this one of the nicest places I have stayed - someone to carry the luggage for you, little presents on New Year's Eve etc etc. Loved it!! 2 minute walk from train station - the walk smells a bit as there are so many trees just full of birds, but even so, in day time, it's really pretty. Can be a bit shady at night time, but we ddin't run into any trouble.

We had a standard double room & although it was small, it was clean & adequate for a short stay. The bathroom was fine & the service good. Breakfasts were excellent. There was plenty of choice & the food was fresh & plentiful. My only slight critism would be that I would have liked tea available (there was only coffee, which was very good, but still, I missed my tea!). Also, the hotel was quiet enough, but the traffic noise & noise from the street was a real nuisance. I don't suppose anyone can turn down the volume on a whole city, but better soundproofing would have been wonderful!

I had requested a two beds and smoking. Was given one bed & a couch and non smoking. When I went into the bathroom the floor was soaking wet! I called down and insisted on the two beds and smoking and I got it, but they were not the friendliest in the change. Everything else was very nice.
