the hotel was in a nice area near stazione termini just a short walk from the very city centre but the room was too little and the bathroom was absolutely uncomfortable that is to say you couldn't move in it. (i'm quite short and with a little building)The room without any window, was in a sort of courtyard where they serve breakfast so if you need a little of air you are obliged to open the door that views into the courtyard. I waited about ten minutes for breakfast and they didn't serve what I asked for. the real value of this hotel is its location.

hotel was further from train station than map indicated; and we were walking and pulling our luggage...room was ready when we arrived... my wife was unhappy with room size; typical european small...but after first day and night we learned to live in the space...plus the staff and guests were so pleasant, it was a pleasure...

This is the judgement of our stay 13-18 july.We also had a reservation for 4-6 july at hotel select but we were moved to a hotel of lot poorer quality of which we are very disappointed. However, the personal of the hotel select were absolut wonderful.

What a great little hotel. It was within walking distance to most places most importantly the central station. The hotel had a great ambience. I stayed by myself in one of the little garne courtyard rooms. Fantastic.

The location is excellent for getting around Rome - a short walk from Termini Station. I have stayed in this area before and will stay here again. Some people have commented that the area is a little seedy, but I find that is more true of the other side of Termini (check the location of this hotel on the map. This is the nicer side of Termini.) Because this hotel is 3 streets from the station, it was much quieter than the streets immediately surrounding the Station. The room was very small as was the shower, but this is typical of all the hotels in this area. More importantly, everything was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. We asked for early check-in at time of booking and room was ready 15 minutes after we arrived (10 am). We were offered coffee in the breakfast room while we waited. Breakdast was excellent in the glassed in courtyard eating area. We left our bags at the hotel on check-out until 2pm while we went site-seeing - no charge. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended this property to friends who are travelling.

Hotel staff are nice and the location is great as it is 5-10min walk from the Termini station. I stayed two nights in triple room with family, the room was pretty small but was nice to have a bathtub to relax in. When I went back the second time by myself to stay in a single room, it only had a shower and was not as clean. Breakfast is served in natural light, by a nice lady staff. This was our favorite hotel in our trip, until we stayed in a much better hotel (overall) in Milan...

Overall very positive stay in this hotel. At a reasonable walking distance from the main sites. The area looks safe enough to walk late at night (as we did). Only negative point: very diluted coffee and no fruits for breakfast.

I stayed at Hotel Select upon arriving to Rome the first of July, then again when departing a month later. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous and the hotel completely met my needs. Common areas, the dining area and garden were clean and well-kept with a nice continental breakfast in the morning. During my first stay, I stayed in a well-equipped single (w/shower) off the garden and I was in HEAVEN. The second time, I was put in a double (w/shower) on the second level (walk up) which was a little on the small-side. It would have been cramped with two people or children, but I know the hotel has larger rooms which vary in size, just ask. The first time, I made reservations on-line and the second time, I walked in and they gave me the last room available! No one comes to Rome to spend time in their hotel room anyway! This Three Star is an excellent value for its location and cleanliness. It is located on a major bus route a few blocks from the train station in an area full of restaurants and caffe bars and is walking distance to most attractions. I WILL stay at this hotel when I return to Rome and I highly recommend it! Thank you again, HOTEL SELECT!!

The room were very small, and the bathroom smelled of mildew. The room served it's purpose, however. They should change the shower curtains more often. Pretty quiet, and very close to the bus/train station.

The hotel was great. We had a double room which was very very small, just enough room for the bed. The ensuite was a decent size and they was a built-in wardrobe to hang clothes. I would definately stay here again!

All hotels in Rome are very expensive, the price/quality ratio is more for Rome than this hotel. This hotel's ratio is average for Rome I think. I enjoyed it, the breakfast was very good (buffet), the hours for breakfast convenient. The room was nice but definitely smaller than the pictures in the website though. Very convenient location.

It was a little difficult to find the hotel on map. But good location for activities in town, especially for sightseeing and business.

We were very pleased to have such accommodation whilst in Rome. It was very convenient for public transport and there was a great selction of 'eateries' in the neighbouring streets.
