| The hotel is located in the middle of the Lazio countryside. Surrounded by woodlands and fields, is the perfect refuge from the pollution of the city and the stress of the workplace. Fishing, horse-riding and swimming are all possible within the immediate vicinity of the hotel. In addition, the Olgiata Golf Club, one of the oldest and most prestigious in Italy, welcomes residents and guests of the hotel. The property's location in the north of Rome is ideal for those arriving from or wishing to go to Florence or Viterbo. Additionally, the G.R.A. or ring road of Rome is very accessible which renders reaching the motorways much easier. The centre of Rome is only 45 minutes away. |

A few remarks: pool was closed although temperature in May about 25 centigrade, which was a pity. Moreover the wellness center was also closed, which is a pity because you pay for 2 facilities you don't get in the end.
A remark on the food in the restaurant: price/quality ratio is poor - I had eg "stuffed duck", which first of all wasn't stuffed but simply the full breast, and where duck should be rosé, this was overcooked. So food really too expensive for what you get.
Nevertheless, simply beautiful hotel and surroundings, great rooms, marvellous to have an aperitif on the terrace... so we had a nice stay, but there were truly some minor points.

Friendly and comptent staff at reception.
Small but luxury property.
Ideal for a romantic trip to Rome for two.
But: POOR cuisine at the restaurant; needs improvement.
