| The hotel is very close to the business district in the southern part of the city and a short stroll away from the Basilica di S.Giovanni in Laterano. Nearby are the most important monuments of ancient Rome: the Colosseum, Trajan's Park and Nero's Golden House leading on to the historic heart of the city from Piazza Venezia to Piazza del Popolo. |

The location is okay. It would have been a lot more convenient if the subway station which is right beside the hotel wasn't under construction. There is a very good restaurant that is fairly reasonable the hotel staff recommended. All staff seemed very proficient in English which was great for me because my Italian is horrible.
The rooms were a little outdated but overall it was a pretty good price considering we were in Rome. It was somewhat close to the sites (Colleseo). Overall pretty good experience.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Although, the hotel is situated in somewhat quiet neighborhood, the breakfast was pretty good. Only complain we had was that shower curtain was too small and after shower, the bathroom floor got flooded. It's a quite a walk from the train station. It stated it's only 2 km but if you walk, it will take good 25 minutes walking. There is a subway station on the next block which was very helpful. The colossum is about 20 minutes walking too.

Overall stay was fine, however I had a BIG PROBLEM with the price in the hotel.
I got the price 90 Euro per night on Venere and stayed 3 nights with 270 Euro.
When I checked out the hotel, a employer charged 270 Euro per night and total was 810 Euro, which was shocked. I showed the receipt from Venere, but he was very unpleasantly insist it was 270 Euro per night. Even thought it was very clear to show the price on the paper, he did not want to change the charge. Finally he changed the price, but he said it was something wrong, not apologizing his fault.
A few days later, I checked my bank account for the charges from the hotel, they draw 270 Euro for 3 night and 3 days later they draw 90 Euro again, which was wrong. I had to call to the hotel and talked with couples of employers and disputed the charge to the bank. It was the very bad experience with the hotel.

great location for price(central and next to a metro which was unfortunately closed), hotel very clean and spacious, huge variety for continental breakfast, room was extremely noisy. there was some road works which began outside the room at 11pm and continued all night and room was next to a main road. maybe specific request for quiet room is required if you are a light sleeper

The hotel is in a good location in Rome, near to manzoni underground station (that is unfortunately closed for manteinance; so you have to walk for 300 m and reach san giovanni laterano underground station). The rooms are not so modern but wide. I would have preferred a best breakfast.

Not bad, hotel doesnt look like much from the outside but once inside things start to look up. Found it nice to stay there. First time in Rome it wasnt a bad base. The hotel was busy and the staff were quite busy and it took a while to get checked in, but all was good.

Das Hotel ist in Ordnung. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist schlecht. Ich habe noch nie in einem4 Sterne Hotel so kleine Aufzüge gesehen. Die Lage neben der U-Bahn Station ist perfekt.
The hotel is alright. The price-performance ratio is bad. Never see so small elevators in a 4 Star Hotel. The location next to the underground is perfect.

The hotel was ideally located right beside a metro station which made travel very easy,it was clean and well furnished throughout but the staff at reception were blunt to the point of rudeness. When I arrived to check in with my Venere reservation number the man at reception kept insisting that I should have a voucher and not a number, it took quite a while to persuade him otherwise. He was also unhelpful at check-out and had to be asked twice for my refundable deposit for the safety deposit box.

The location of the hotel is excellent, literally beside an underground station. There was no outside noise or distractions. Hotel employees were courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet has plenty to suit most cultural tastes but coffee really needs improvement. However, there is a cafe next door! The hotel recommended restaurant located 5 mins from the hotel has a great atmosphere for a more true italian feel and the food was impressive. Visiting Rome is an exhausting but wonderful experience, I cannot recommend trainers highly enough for true comfort. The Colosseum & Forum are 15 min walk from the hotel and a good attraction to start your visit. We got what we were looking for out of this hotel !

We traveled to Rome with our 15month old during one of the busiest weekends imaginable (the innagauration weekend of Benedict XVI). I had asked for a queit room with a cot from the hotel via Venere and I got just that. The hotel was polite accomodating and efficiently managed.
The rooms are clean and small and fairly modern. Perefectly adequate in most ways for a tourist hotel. The location is a littel out of town about 15 minutes walk from the Colleseum and 1/2 hour walk from the main tourist spots but just steps away from an underground station and a tram stop. The area is a pleasant one, quiet and unassuming - a nice retreat from teh madness of central rome.
The only downsides were that the hotel's restaurant was pretty uninspiring and breakfast was a predictable and unexciting.
Other than that a pretty good tourist hotel

Overall, we were pleased with the hotel.
The location was great, and easy to find - right outside the Metro stop!
The hotel was also a short walk away from the Colosseum, and within walking distance of many other areas (although the Metro was much more covenient).
The staff were friendly, and our room was clean. We had a triple room which didn't leave much space. Our room was to the front of the hotel, which meant we did experince some traffics noise from the busy road below (day & night) - which we didn't mind, especially after a few glasses of house wine!
We enjoyed our stay here, the location, and the price, and would definitelt consider this hotel again if we return to Roma!

Ottimo il ristorante vicino all'albergo.
