We checked into hotel and were very happy proceeded up to our room and decided to go for a walk ,as we passed the front desk we were advised that we had to pay in full before our stay ,I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have never had to pay for a hotel upfront,they had my credit card details(by the way deducted a night rate two days before we even checked in).I have to say that I felt very uncomfortable with this as we had already gone up to our room and wondered why ,if it is hotel policy to pay before your stay then they should have charged our card when we walked in the door.There was a lovely girl doing the breakfast and I couldnt praise her enough ,she was more than helpful.
