Rome spacious but smelled strongly of mildew. As a single traveler I felt isolated in the seating arrangement in the dining room. Meals at half board moderate in quality as was the wine.

This hotel should not accept the guest while they are reconstructing the entrance, hall and/or restraunt(?) where dust is kicking up. And more worse, I got a cold ! shower( their boiler system had downed and could not supply hot water) at chilly early spring night, as the result I almost caught a cold. Hotel staff did not inform me before usage. By the information of Venere , they open the restaurant usualy, but above reason they close when we arrived. For a foreign traveller who cannot contact direct easily , Venere should provide more correct information, I hope.

This hotel is very well located in Ravello with great scenic view from the room. However decoration and furniture are oldish and not particularly attractive. Part of the hotel was under renovation in February 2008.

Pleasant enough hotel in a good location, 10-minute walk to the main square of this lovely town, but this is definitely not 4-star quality. Our room (which had a fabulous panoramic view) was run down, unimaginatively decorated, with stained upholstery. Sat TV had no English-language channels, and the poorly-lit bathroom was a little stinky; the tub had only a hand-held nozzle with no place to hang it on the wall. Perhaps they are upgrading, because most of the public spaces were curtained off and workmen started their pounding at 7:30 am. Staff was cheery and helpful and served a very tasty breakfast. Overpriced for what we got.

The hotel is in a lovely postion with wonderful views and a pleasant pool. The rooms are spacious & the staff are helpful. However the facilities aren't brilliant for 4 star e.g. no aircon, no minibar, no porters, broken hairdryer.

We have been to Ravello many times and the welcome we received at the Bonadies was the nicest ever. All our rooms had breathtaking views of the Amalfi coast. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and will go back often.

Lovely hotel with a superb location. The only thing that is a shame is the phone system that is still analogic. Not very good for modems and laptops. Internet connection available on hotel lobby though.

We found the hotel staff excellent and very helpful. They restaurant was very good and a great place to relax after a hectic day! They have a car parking area nearby for hotel guests, but for local visits we left our car and used the hotel shuttle bus and local bus services. All in all a very enjoyable stay and we would happily return again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Bonadies in Ravello. Excellent family-owned hotel with great customer service that went above and beyond when we had transportation problems. Thanks Mrs. Carrano! We loved our room with the beautiful view that overlooked the sea, the room was spotless and our dinner good as well. We definitely recommend the Bonadies and would stay there again on a future trip.

Since we stayed in Ravello during the winter season, the hotel did not offer a shuttle service to/from Amalfi. We were informed of this by the hotel beforehand and had a simple and fairly straightforward bus connection in Amalfi. We found the bus drivers are always ready to help and very punctual. The hotel was very quiet since there was only one other couple staying at the time. We had a large terrace accessible from our room with an incomparable view of the coast below. The room was clean and the floor heating was most welcome since it was quite cold and rainy at times. The staff were all friendly and helpful and went out of their way to arrange/purchase train tickets for us for the next leg of our journey. The dining room was spacious and had the same splendid views, though we found the food adequate but unremarkable. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily return.

it was a wonderful hotel, very friendly and informative staff who were always available to help, fantastic food and views from the restaurant, who always improvised a vegetarian option for me.

This is the best hotel that my wife and I found on our extended trip in Italy. The web is very modest in the description, as the hotel and surroundings are beautiful, and the view is breathtaking. The owners went very far to accomodate our special needs. The hotel van trip to Amalfi was quick and efficient.

Small room, even though advertised as a "suite". Constant traffic noise in the rear rooms. Would not stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. The view was gorgeous. There was one female manager at the front desk who was excellent. As other reviewers have said, it is on a very noisy street. It was rated as a four star but was priced and looked like a three star to me. It was clean but a little run down and there was no elevator. I think my expectations were a little higher because it was rated as a four star.

All of staff are very familiar and atmosphere is supeior,Restaurant in dinner especially. The scenery from the room is beautiful, but just question of noise from the road.
