The hotel was wonderful and the restaurant was outstanding. Our only negative comments:
1- the woman at the desk when we checked in did not seem to be pleased that we had booked through venere vs. through the hotel
2- the desk staff was not very helpful in helping us get around

Excellent view from the terrace; one of the world's greatest? Small and charming hotel and a good restaurant next door. But, as very often in Italian hotels, a very simple breakfast.
