The staff is pretty helpful for tourist spots recommendation. I've booked a triple room and it's spacious enough for 3 of us. Old town and other tourist spots are within walking distance. The hotel surroundings may be a bit too quiet at night. But it won't be a problem if you don't return too late.

(breakfast room staff at this point quite rude). staff should not be entering guests room while occupied by sleeping guests to fill minibar!! otherwise location to sights excellent. old town square 10 mins. wencelas square 10 mins. good food around the corner in rustica 2 mins.

Too much ... but good value for money ... and good position.

Hotel is well situated within about 5 mins walk of Wenceslas Square and then not far to the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge (and the torture museum - an absolute must!!). This made it an ideal base for exploring the city. The surrounding area is not great - situated near a busy overpass - but this didn't bother us at all.
The staff were (mostly) really friendly, the rooms were immaculate and the bathrooms were stunning.
Breakfast was ok - nothing to get excited about but not dreadful.
The free web access in the guest lounge was a real bonus (although the seedy Italian business men looking for escorts - and I don't Ford - was a bit off putting).
All in all, would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.

The best part is the service. The male staff members are all very very nice (especially the doorman guy). The breakfast and rooms are all lovely. The location is not perfect, but behind the hotel, there are lots of buses which can be used to get to the city centre. The worst part in the hotel is the outlook and the design of the lobby.

Clean, convenient and remarkable value for money. its not quaint or stylish, but in easy walking distance from town. near a flyover, but double glazing partly compensates. we were able to email in advance and request a twin not double room, and they orgainsed taxis to and from teh airport. would recommend for people on own, couples or two friends like us, probalby not for a big group of lads!

Perfect location to explore the city, about 5 min walk to namesty republiky (metro, tram) and about 15-20 min to Charles bridge. Other direction about 5-10 min to Wenzel-Square.
Try out "La Bodega" on the same street, only few hundred meters down the road...very nice!

Great location for the price - the hotel is 10-15 minutes walking from the Old Town Square. We had a room facing the highway but we had no problems with the noise. My parents' room faced a courtyard and it was even quieter. The rooms were spacious and clean. Service was good and courteous, everyone spoke a little English. The only negative thing was that the view from our room was a highway, but as I said, the price and quality for being this close to the historical center can't be beaten. I would stay here again.

It was a very very comfortable hotel, a little away from the hustle of the old town. The staff were very helpful. There are major tram lines in the area so getting around is not an issue. The free Wifi is a huge plus.

This is a nice business hotel, just between the Masaryk and Main (Hlavni) stations. The hotel is also ideal for visitors to the University of Economics (VSE). Very busy traffic on both sides of the hotel and the area is a bit seedy, but this goes with being a station-area hotel. I asked for a quieter room away from the street, got one facing the street, but it was surprisingly quiet. Free internet access was useful. There is a tram stop behind the hotel, but it is also possible to walk to the old town and then on the Charles Bridge.

Stayed here for our few nights in February while visiting Prague. We loved this hotel and found that it was an excellent price for the quality of the room. The room was spacious and clean, including the bathroom. We asked for a room in the courtyard because previous reviews had complained about the street noise, they complied with our request. We heard nothing but silence and slept with the window open. The location is excellent, just don't expect any nice views. Only a 5-10 min walk from the airport shuttle drop off. The down town square is only a 10-15 min. walk. It is by the train station which can seem sketchy but never once did we (2 females) feel uncomfortable. The service we had was friendly. The breakfast was just fine for us. Free internet access was great. Would definetly stay here without hesitation again and would recommend it to anyone.

Is a great hotel, maybe the location is not that good (you just need to walk 2 small blocks and there you are!) but the hotel services are very good, rooms are new, spacious and clean, breakfast buffet is great, fruit, juices, coffee, scramble eggs, bacon, different kind of breads... "very good!"
I defenitely recomend this hotel, and i defenitely recomend Prague! is a beautiful city to visit and enjoy!

Second time staying at the tulip Inn this time we miss the special touch of the porter taking you to your room that was fantastic touch. But the hotel was just as we remembered it from our stay before, what can we say but fantastice so good we bought our family this time. Breakfast great everything you could want. Room view not so great this time but you can not have everything. Room was so clean and left fresh everytime. Will come back on our next visit to Prague that's for sure.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The employees were warm, friendly, and efficent. The lobby and sitting area is lovely. They have two computers available in the lobby for email or doing searches. The breakfast buffet was very good. I missed brewed coffee in the morning but got used to the instant espresso quickly. The only downside was the location. The front of the hotel overlooks a main highway. So ask for a room in the rear to avoid listening to traffic. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroos are quite large. Bring your own wash cloth, as in many European hotels, they are not provided with the towels.

The hotel was as describes on the website, the room that we stayed in was exactly like the one in the photo. It is an excellent choice if you are arriving by train, as it is less than 5 min’s walk from the main train station. Also, the hotel is at less than 10 min's walk to the Powder Tower, where the Old Town begins. On the same street (Hybernskaia) we found a very nice restaurant, The Needle, with great food (try the spinach and salmon soup!!) and nice prices. Shopping areas are also close-by. I also must mention the breakfast at the hotel, which was excellent. They offered a wide choice of food, from scrambled eggs and bacon to 6 different kinds of cereals. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. I got ill during my stay and they were very helpful providing some simple cold medicine at no charge. Both the room and the bathroom were very large, lots of mirrors and a safety deposit box. Even if the windows were facing the street, there was little noise.
Next time in Prague I would choose the same hotel without hesitation and I will definitely recommend it to friends.

Very good choice for those who want to walk around the city which is really nice. Allthough the area around the hotel is not ideal, the position is convenient, it's only a few minutes from the center of the city. The breakfast was fine. It is preferable to pay cash for the room, because we've payed more euros via credit card. The staff was friendly but outside of the hotel, the Tchechs are a bit rude specially those who are employees in all sort of shops. Be aware of the areas around the bridges specialy during the night, since a lot of thieves are trying to come closer to you with "innocent" comments. They will try to empty your pockets within a minute!

We got a prety warm welcome from the staff. Mr.Picolo caried the suitcases to our room and provided us with suficient information. The room lived up to the expectations and looked excactly like the pictures. The hotell was located nearby the main driveway, but this caused no majour noise, no problem with sleeping. Enthough the hotell was located close to the road, it was perfect distance to the centrum. Walking distance to every facilities, 15 minutes walk to the Charlesbridge. Breakfast was superb, plenty of food, hotfood aswell. Egg & bacon etc.
Some dust in the cealing, but who cares!

Ben tenuto,camera spaziosa,colazione ben assortita.

Everything about the hotel was great except you will most likely have trouble sleeping. Big rooms, big bath, best breakfast out of 9 hotels, location good not great. The big drawback is that the hotel and over one-half of the rooms are right next to (100ft) a major elevated expressway with all night car and truck traffic.

The Hotel ids wonderfully sited to see the delights of Central Prague. About ten minutes walk from Wencelas Square, and the Old Town Square,
Twenty Minutes from "Charles Bridge and the Jewish Quarter.

I was in single room on nonsmoking 12th floor, which was smaller than most with slanted ceiling and sealed skylight instead of windows. Room thus very quiet but tended to get a little warm since at top of building. Spacious bathroom and excellent breakfast help make up for lack of basic amenity such as facial tissue. Location adequate for sightseeing.
Tip: Be very wary of crime in Prague. I was robbed at midday on platform at train station while boarding train to Germany.

Tulip Inn Prague Terminus is exactly what I was looking for in a place to stay in Prague. Although the hotel itself is not located in a central area (i.e. a town square or anything), it was only a short walk to nightlife/sightseeing, and basically anything you'd want to do in the city. Our room had an astonishingly clean and beautiful bathroom, was quiet, and as clean as any 5-star hotel I've stayed at before. I have no doubt in my mind that I will stay here for my next visit to Praha. Great hotel, UNREAL value for your money!!

I chose the Tulip Inn because I needed to be in central Prague and it was the cheapest hotel of a reasonable quality fitting my criteria. It's a clean, pleasant hotel that has a guest use, high-speed computer terminal available. On the down side, my room was closet-like in size. Also, down the street from the Tulip Inn is a nightclub whose denizens were milling about the sidewalk in the morning as if they were under the influence of something. These people weren't threatening, but it underscored that the Tulip Inn is somewhat on the fringe of a very nice area and a less nice area. I would also note, as a general comment, that central Prague hotels are expensive across the board. Prague prices aren't London-like (yet), but they aren't wholly dissimilar, either.

What can we say but you could not have been made more welcome at the hotel. The staff were great the room was fantastic and you could not have faulted the cleanliness of the hotel and a welcome note on the tv was a great touch. It was a very cold period when we stayed there but we were so warm in the room. We did have a little walk to the centre but it was well worth the lovely walk. Never Judge a book by its cover the hotel may not look that fantastic from the outside but the inside was really lovely. Yes you are near the road but we never heard the traffic as the room had two layers of windows (not double glazed)there is a mini bar in room at good prices . The breakfast was fantastic there was anything you wanted and more, you could go back as many times as you wanted and still treated as if it was the first time you had been up. This was our 3rd time visiting Prague and this has been by far the best hotel we have stayed in, the price is just right. We would most definitley go back to this hotel again without a doubt.

Clean and comfortable hotel, helpful staff. Good breakfast included.
Located behind a railway station which means that the area surrounding the hotel was slightly shabby, but this is compensated by that it is only a short walk along Hybernská (5-10 minutes) from the eastern end of the historical center, Powder Tower.
Good value for money.

The room we were given was kind of below street level (we could see the sidewalk and people waling by). This bothered us at first but then was never a real difficulty. The room was was very spacious, clean and very comfortable. Staff was very helpful, specially in helping us book the proper tours and visits. If travelling by train, this is the place you want to stay (just be careful that some trains stop at the other Praha terminal which is across town - this hotel is 5 minutes walk from the largest Train station). We stayed for 2 days as part of our honeymoon trip.

Despite this snooty or just socially retarded MARTINE guy behind the desk that greeted us, the stay at the tulip was great. My girlfriend and I stayed for several days and the location and rest of the staff were exceptional. A very short walk (10 min) pretty much can get you anywhere, and facing the courtyard meant we did not hear any passing cars or anything. I would recommend the tulip to those that want to save a few bucks but still not need a metro to go anywhere.

Hotel Tulip staff are couteous the rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast is fine and there is enough choice to start your day.If you like your typhoo or so take your own and maybe larger cups will help, location 10mins from powder tower (good street plans free in hotel)
tulip is near abusy main road to oneside only so there is double glazing to help with this problem all the othersides are quiet!..TIPS:
Take the cedaz van from airport direct to hotel 480krs per 4passengers return via cedaz van pick point near hotel renaissance for only 90krs each to airport(approx 5 mins walk from tulip)
visit terezin the fortress town (excursion)
eat at Kozicka It is kind of steak house in the very nice decorated cellar just few metres from the Old Town Square reasonably priced and english and german menus and 300g steak was excellent.walk or tram is the best option to get around the city avoiding the metro and its pocket pics.ENJOY!
