Overall a very enjoyable stay, with very pleasant and helpful staff. Our only slight complaint would have been that the "twin beds" in our room turned out to be twin beds with a double mattress, and as we were a party of friends not couples that was not ideal - but we managed!

Very nice hotel, well located, (area "le petit coté"). People from the reception always ready to help you. Nice, clean & spacious room. Perfect in winter ( windows of your room are closed), located just near tramway station, and a heavy traffic road...

The room was spacious and clean, we liked the stay a lot. The only strange thing was the bathroom, where there was no proper curtain in the window. Had to use it without having the lights on! Otherwise good stuff.

The hotel is lovely our room was spacious and very clean. It was on the front of the hotel however so there was some noise from passing trams. I requested a room with 3 single beds but upon arrival we were given a room with a double and a single it was quickly changed though.
The Roma is well placed in a quite area of town about 10 mins walk from Charles Bridge.
The area was pleasant with some good restaurants - I would particularly recommend Vinarna Zlaty Had (web address www.zlatyhad.cz)
I would stay here again and I recommned it.

Hotel is in a decent location near the Charles Bridge but it is in a quieter area of Mala Strana. Walls are very thin, and the floors are all tile everywhere so from the rooms, you could hear everything going on in the hallway and people rolling their luggage. The rooms were pretty sparse, and I wouldn't categorize this as a 4 star hotel. We had a triple that was one big room with a fairly large bathroom. Walking past the double rooms when the staff was cleaning, these rooms are small. The staff was not very helpful when we asked them about basic charges such as international calls. The underground parking garage had very large spaces and was secure.

Very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Room was spacious and on two floors with a bathroom on each floor. Reception staff were very helpful indeed and also had a pleasant attitude. The onlymajor drawback was that the cleaning of our room left much to be desired and also the violin player who insisted on practising all day (although the music was actually quite pleasant and he/she was very good!).

Excellent hotel conveniently situated, easily reached from airport by public transport at cost of 50pence. ( 119 bus from airport changing to tram no 20 and dropped at door). Nice area 10 mins walk from Charles Bridge.
Immaculate hotel with decent breakfast. Good facilities, pleasant helpful staff. You could do a lot worse than stop here.

the only remarq concerns: no air condition and no restaurant service offered (breakfast only).
The highest rating is for your wwebsite: this is the 2nd time I use venere.com for my reservations (Brussels and Praga) and I found it convenient. I already suggested your website to my friends and I'll continue to use it for my travels (Madrid next november).
Best regards. Maurizio Fardellotti.

The hotel was very nice. We spent 5 nights at Roma, and would stay at Roma again with no second toughts, also recommend it to friends/family going to Prague. Our room was situated in the back away from traffic, didnt hear traffic. From and to the airport we used shuttle service, about 17 Euro each way - about 30min drive depending on traffic. Close by there are supermarkeds, where one can buy food and drinks to have in the room/during walking. The breakfast was excellent, it had everything. In under 5min with easy walking, one is at Charles Bridge, and Old Town Square in under 15min. It's also close to the tram wich will take you up the Petrin Hill. Recommended, nice rose gardens and lovely birdsperpectiv-view over the sentrum of Prague. In lobby there is 2 pcs with free access internett for visitors of Roma. If you're not scared of the price, this is a high-quality hotel situated very sentral-near. Will also recommend a restaurant, Kogo and their vine "Vranac". Hope you find this helpfull, and hope you get just as lovely stay at Roma as we did.

The hotel offers a good standard of accommodation, at a reasonable price and is ideally placed in relation to the best places to visit. It is a 15 to 20 min stroll into the old town and is on a tram route if walking is not an option. The only downside was that all rooms are smoking and is seenmed that most guests at the hotel did smoke. Not pleasant for us non-smokers.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Location is great- away from the madness of the old town yet walking distance across the Charles bridge. The only drawback was the lack of A/C in rooms which could be a problem in hot weather. Else would strongly recommend the Hotel Roma.

The Roma Hotel has a great location within 10 minutes walking distance of Mala Strana and the Charles Bridge. The hotel and bedrooms were spacious and the included breakfast more than adequate. There is free internet in the lobby. Plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner. Highly recommended and value for money.

Hello,
the rating 8 in the row 'Services and facilities offered' means: I've sit down by the PC in the public room, but I could not view my emails, only one website was reachable and there was no hint on the table how can I get more (against money or some other way)
Generally it was very nice! Congratulate :-)

Found this hotel very easy to get to from the airport, by using the 119 bus from the airport to the Metro at Dejvicka, taking the Metro to Malostranska and then taking a tram (numbers 12,20,22 or 23) to Ujezd stop. The tram stop is right outside hotel Roma. Suggest a travel ticket is purchased at the airport which allows you umlimited travel by bus, tram or Metro for the length of your stay/ticket.
Hotel Roma was clean and the staff were very helpful and professional.
The breakfast provided plenty of choice - fruits, juices, breads, cereals, bacon and eggs, ham and cheese etc.
Rooms and public areas were clean.
Tourist information office to the front of the hotel.
Overall, a very good location and would stay at Hotel Roma again.

The location of the hotel is the best for a walking tourist. It's in the middle of different areas and walking routes. I and my wife never needed to use TRAM or METRO, except when coming from the airport...
(we took 119 bus to the metro line A; and took the metro with the same ticket; got off the METRO at MUSTEK and walked to the Most Legil bridge you can take TRAM if you want - to Ujezd station : it's in front of the hotel room)
A very big room and bathroom, 55cm TV, fair prices in the refrigrator... and clean sheets...
And in the morning, a perfect breakfast in a big saloon... What else can you demand...
When leaving the hotel, the CZK - EUR exchange rate was fair, thanks again.. (This "commission rate" will be your first issue in Praha)
I want to go to Praha again (2-nights holiday was not enough for us...) and i will definetely choose this hotel again.

This was the first time we stayed at Hotel Roma and it was in a great location just a short stroll across a bridge to old town prague. The hotel only had one down fall and that was the floors. The total floor area was tiled, which meant that you could hear everything from the floor above you. For example the moving of chairs, wheeling of suitcases and wearing of stilletoes. At one point somebody above us had dropped what sounded like a bag of marbels. So therefore it was a little noisy.

Very pleasant rooms, well maintained (other than some tatty surplus barhroom fittings)and comfortable. Bathroom very well equipped. Tiled floor throughout so probably nice & cool in the summer. Dining room a little crowded at peak times but only a little. Reception staff very helpful with booking tickets, taxis etc. Excellent location for Petrin Park, tram routes and the river.

We've been to Prague 3 times but this was the first time we used Venere.com to book our hotel. The information we used to book the hotel was exact and the hotel was gorgeous. The staff was very accomodating and eager to help with any questions. We plan to go back to this hotel the next time we travel to Prague.

Hotel Roma is in a great location opposite the funicular railway and Petrin Hill. There are some good restaurants around the hotel too.
On the ground floor there is a large tourist information office which was very useful for planning the day ahead.
The hotel provides free internet in reception and printing too.
Breakfast was good and the decor of the hotel was bright, modern and clean.
The only negative comments I would make is firstly to the poor variety of English language programmes on the satellite in room TV system. CNN news was the only offering. This was poor especially if traveling with children.Secondly the service at the hotel bar was not very good and drink prices were high in my opinion.
Thirdly our room overlooked the 'courtyard' and was quiet, but we could sometimes hear water running from adjacent rooms shower and toilet flushes, this was quite loud in the morning.
Overall Hotel Roma was a good choice of hotel and I would consider staying in this hotel again.

EN: A very nice surprise! Excellent price/performance ratio from Venere. Located 10 minutes by foot from Charles bridge. Renovated but everything like new, quality construction material, cosy. Very nice and helpfull receptionist (taxi, general help...). Free internet access in lobby. Breakfast ok, tv ok, strong beds... We already recommended it to friends.

Posizione eccellente, camere ampie, arredo delle stanze essenziale. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. 2 punti internet gratuiti. Hotel appena ristrutturato con gusto italiano. Prima colazione abbondante e varia. Un unico neo la mancanza di aria condizionata per un caldo eccezionale per Praga

The hotel was a pleasant surprise over all; the comfortable lounge downstairs was enjoyable as were our rooms. A nice surprise is a small courtyard where you can eat breakfast outside. However, I arrived in a heat wave, there is no air conditioning and on asking the staff for a fan I was (not) aided by an icy 20 something year old who was less than obliging. Speaking with staff in the morning we found out that there are only 20 some fans for the entire hotel. Also on leaving I was directed to take a trolley that was not running to get to the train station. Overall the hotel was a good experience. It's location is perfectly situated, on a quieter block, below a large beautiful park, in Mala Strana. A short walk (uphill) from the Prague Castle and environs (maybe 2-3 city blocks), and a trolley stops right in front of the hotel to bring you across to old town, new town, and Jewish quarter (not that the entirety of Prague could not be, fairly easily, walked as it is a stunning and compact city.) It is possible to sign up for guided tours from the hotel, including boat tours, a trip to some of the more distant castles, and terezinstad. The location of ROMA is perfect for anyone visiting Prague, on the quite side with easy access to old town,-although there are few amenities for children. Attached to Roma is a visitor information center which we made use of, purchasing concert tickets, phone cards and the individuals there were very helpful and had access to many of the cities other events. There are also two computers in the lobby providing free internet access, prepare for a wait at normal rush hours. - we did wind up changing rooms due to a broken fridge-the staff readily aided in taking care of refrigerated medication. Both rooms (the second one smaller) were fairly spacious, the first, a regular double had two beds, both comfortable with big fluffy comforters.

Location couldn't be better - Area lovely and relatively peaceful, close to river, castle, many cafés and yet away from worst of the tourist crowds. Rooms seem to vary in size and quality, but some are absolutely beautiful and very spaceous.
