L'hotel è molto bello e confortevole. Consigliato.

I am happy to recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Prague, especially for the first time. The location is perfect with great bars and restaurants only a stones throw away. First the location with regard to the airport; The cheapest way is to take the 119 bus until Dejvice, then from there get the No.20 tram which goes all the way to Kinsky place the exact stop name is Svandovo Nivadlo. You're then 100 metres from the hotel just up the hill. Regards the hotel, the staff were polite and professional and nothing was a problem. I would also like to give credit to the breakfast waitresses who were equally efficient and professional. Perhaps be aware that the view, as the hotel is situated away from Kinsky place, is opposite the park and not the most scenic view from the 1st floor. That said, it didn't bother me because the service and general atmosphere were so good. If you wish to take a tram they are a 3 minute walk from the hotel stopping and departing from Kinsky place opposite the fountain. The No.9 will take you as far as Wenceslas square. But it's all within walking distance too so the options are there for all. I'll be staying at the Kinsky Garden again whenever the next opportunity arises. Good memories!

Probably if I new the hotel was about 1 mile from Golden Prague I might have not selected it.
The overall stay was good. Room and bathroom was OK, breakfast was OK (coffe was burned), reception people was helpful, very quiet place. A long walk from golden Prague though, but you can take the railway in the next corner.
However, I got to prague via train to the HLVANI train station at night and it was very shocking. The station is not in a great shape, the few people you´ll see will ask you for money in exchange of information, just a couple of cabs available, and not very informative subway and city maps.
I had to take a cab since I needed to get out of there quick. First they wanted 40 Euros and I ended up paying 20.
So I would recommend you this hotel, but I would also recomend you two things: don´t get at night to the train station and second, use the metro so you dont loose money. It´s only 6 stations plus two railway stops from the HLVANI train station.
Directions: Use the red subway line towars LADVI. Get off on FLORENC station and transfer to yellow line towars ZLICIN. Get off on ANDEL station. Get out the subway and take a railway towards golden prage (railways 6 and 12 can get you there).
Good Luck!

The hotel was very quiet and peacful, most people at breakfast were 50+ including us,not a place to party! A place to rest. The air conditioning was good..controls in our room, the breakfast great, best scrambled eggs in a hotel ever ( or anywhere else!)and all the bread and croisants very fresh.I would go again. I have added a photo of the road the hotel is on and the view at the end of the road, very near tram stop and a great , cheap but good Italian( feed two with beer for £6)

the word Garden is misleading. the hotel in not at all in a garden and doesn't have any garden at all It is overlooking a garden across a VERY BUSY street. your choice is simple 1)you get a front room and the noise 2) you get a rear room and the courtyard view !

The hotel is ideally located for access to the central area of the city either by tram or by walking. The park is close by, and sightseeing is very easy. £2 (80Czk) buys a day's worth of tram/bus/funicular railway travel around the city. Plenty of good restaurants and bars within easy walking of the hotel. Recommend Olympia for roast pork and mulled wine.

WE HAD A DISASTROUS START TO OUR BREAK (I.E. MY HUSBAND AND BROTHER MISSED THE EASY JET FLIGHT,ALL OUR BAGS WERE OFF-LOADED EVEN THROUGH MY SISTER-IN-LAW AND I STAYED ON THE PLANE)WHEN WE ARRIVED AT PRAGUE WE HAD NO CLOTHES, NO TOOTH BRUSH ETC.,WE REALISED OUR OTHER HALF'S DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THE HOTEL THEY WERE STAYING IN.THEY HAD NO MONEY,NO CAR KEYS AND NO HOUSE KEY'S. LUCKILY THEY MANAGED TO GET AN EVENING FLIGHT. THE HOTEL WAS LOVELY, WE HAD NICE ROOMS OVERLOOKING THE PARK WHICH WAS QUITE SPECTACULAR IN OCTOBER WITH ALL THE TREES CHANGING COLOUR. THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT,THE ROOMS WERE NICE AND CLEAN,ITS WITHIN WALKING DISTANT TO CHARLES BRIDGE.I WOULD CERTAINLY STAY THERE AGAIN,WE ALL THOUGHT PRAGUE WAS ONE OF THE MOST PICTUREQUE CITIES WE HAVE VISITED, IT IS VERY CHEAP TO EAT OUT, AND WE ALL SAID IT WOULD WE NICE TO GO BACK ONE DAY.HOPE THIS HELPS.

Our room is next to a park, so it is quiet. A little bit far from the main attractions on foot, but we managed OK. Room rate was on the high side, considering it is nothing unique and another hotel like Golden Tulip was in the city center and cheaper. Beware of waiters in some restaurants in Prague. We went to one for dinner one night, the price of food looked reasonable. We ordered and were waiting for our food, when the waiter offered some alcoholic drinks to us (apertif). We did not refuse it, fearing of appearing impolite. Then, when the bill came, the drinks were 20 Euro, and no breakdown. Another item was also not described, when we asked, the waiter said it was voluntary tips, which came to 15% of the cost of the meal. The usual practice should be 5 to 10%, and outside Prague, they don't even expect tips. By the way, I found the last section of this questionnaire quite annoying. I am required to answer all questions, and I am not given the choice that I want! I don't want to receive any newsletter, yet the last question is on what I want in the newsletters, without an option to say I don't want any newsletter.

Maybe not all the facilities were up to UK 4 star standard, but there was all one actually needs. Rooms were well furnished and clean, decent breakfast though service a bit slow, reasonably quiet. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Book the taxi from airport to hotel through them to ensure the price and avoid delays.

Nous avons été très satisfaits de la qualité de cet hôtel. Situé dans un quartier tranquille et agréable, à quelques arrêts de tramway du centre historique, il est le parfait pied-à-terre pour un séjour touristique à Prague.

My daughter and I found this hotel really nice for our three night stay in Prague. A great location, our room looked out on the park and petrin hill, which was covered in snow. We used the tram to get around, although would have walked everywhere if it had been a bit warmer! Hotel staff were so helpful and nice, arranged booking for theatre, taxi to airport etc...I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

An excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were extremely comfortable and quiet.
Although the hotel is not in the centre of Prague, it is very easy to get to anywhere in the city using the impressive tram network that is only a couple of minutes walk away.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Prague and would certainly stay there again.

Our stay at kinsky garden was excellent. The hotel is close to the city center and even closer to a big commercial center where you can find whatever you need. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast (wide choice). We could stay again at Best Western Kinsky Garden for a future trip to Prague.

The staff of the BW Kinsky were magnificent in helping my wife and me have a great stay in Prague. Our room comfortable and immaculate, the breakfast buffet was first-rate and the staff was willing and competent to help with concert tickets, restaurant recommendations, and tram tickets and schedules. As a result, we spent very little time stumbling around trying to follow the travel guides and saw as much of Prague as possible in our short stay.

We were very impressed with the Hotel, from our first arrival we were made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff who had no problems with the language difference. The rooms were of an excellent standard of cleanliness, and lovely and warm on cold February days/nights.The choices at breakfast were also excellent the best I have come across for quite a while.Overall we were more than pleased with the standard of the Hotel, and would have no doubts of reccomending it to anyone. The hotel was first class. We had no teas maid in our room and asked if the hotel could provide us with one, it arrived within 5 minutes. Excelent location, take a walk in the park oppsite.... it eventually brings you up to the castle with out going onto any roads. Take a walk up the tower in the park for the best views of Prague. Try the BASTILLE RESTAURANT for cheap taste food, its 3 minutes walk form the hotel. Come out the hotel walk down the hill, turn left to charles bridge and its 800metres along this road and its on your right. Roaring log fire, good service inexpensive food, good menu french+cheq

This hotel was pretty near perfect, it was the perfect price for its location. It is right near a tram stop that takes you right into the centre of Prague, and yet far enough out of the hustle and bustle to get some peace and quiet. The surrounding views are beautiful.

The Best Western Kinsky Garden Hotel fulfilled all our expectations. We can really recommend this place while staying in Prague. Allthough the hotel is not in the Center of Prague you can reach the InnerCity very good and there are nice, non-touristic restaurants near by.
Breakfast might not fulfill the more ore less high standard of German Hotels, since there are more Italians and English people in the Hotel. But the Quality of the food was good and also the variety is enough to start your day. The price that venere stated didn't include an extra fee of 5% which we had to pay in the hotel. Otherwise very recommendable and we'll stay there again next time!

A real good place to stay, the rooms are very spacious and clean. The surrounding is excellent, close to the river in a walking-distance of five minutes and just fifteen minutes to the castle and the charles-bridge.
The staff could be a little bit more friendly, but I do unterstand them in view of the masses of bold tourists in Prague, its impossible to be polite the whole time.
The Hotel is good choice and worth the money and I definitely recommed the Kinsky Garden!

We loved the Best Western Kinsky Garden. The location was great, within easy walking distance to the river and most of the best parts of Prague. The hotel has been recently refurbished and everything is beautiful. The staff was more than gracious and promptly responded to our every request. I would find it hard to believe if there is a better place to stay in Prague.
