although everything about the hotel was excellent, as i had half board the food was not of good quality and was below standard from kitchen to serving

Very nice hotel in a nice area, but walls must be thin as it you could hear next door coughing quite loudly. There was no map, so not easy to find at night in the dark. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but guests should be aware that other than the Spanish staff, we were the only non Germans in the hotel, making it more difficult to socialise due to the language barrier. This was a bit of a surprise to us, but then we discovered that the Playa de Palma area is mainly used by Germans for their holidays.

The room was adequate. However, the hotel was hard to find as there is no accurate map on the web site. This is really important. The quoted time for breakfast was until 10.00 a.m. As we only arrived at 1.15 a.m. after alate flight, we needed a late breakfast, The service was non existent - the food was virtually all taken. We had to search for a table and eventually sat down where we wanted as there was no staff. 5 mins later we were told by a male member of staff, who suddenly appeared, that we had to move. The was a complete lack of personal touch within the hotel and it does not represent value for money. I would like an explaination as to the very poor breakfast and lack of anybody who seemed to care about your customers. i think we paid to much for a really poor service.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. You cannot cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a non refundable or prepaid rate.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservations must be cancelled 30 days prior to arrival to avoid a penalty fee of 10 €. Less than 30 days before arrival: first night. No Shows: If guest doesn’t cancel their booking before arrival we charge a penalty of 100% of the total amount.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 30 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. You cannot cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a non refundable or prepaid rate.
