I was travelling with my wife. The desk staff were unwelcoming. The hotel is in the middle of an industrial area. Rooms are appalling. It is not possible to read anything in the room as lighting is behind mattress. You cannot sit up in bed to watch TV. You cannot find anything due to the poor lighting. No hotel facilities information in room. No tea/coffee facilities. The high-tech electronic door lock did not work so we were given an old fashioned key which the maid used. We are both slim but had to pass each other sideways as the room was tiny. No cupboards or drawers. We did not eat dinner as the restaurant surroundings are stark and the menu so limited. Each evening we spent our time at the Hotel Jolie to stay away from the San Ranieri. We have travelled and worked in most countries worldwide. This was the second worse hotel we have ever stayed in. Please remove it from your booking program. It could not be recommended to any human.

Modern intruguing decor....TV set into long mirror on the bedroom wall.....lights sensitive to movement in the bathroom...not altogether successful as when doing teeth or makeup the lights go out...needs fine tuning...grass on the outside public area upstairs... neat touch... although at the front of the hotel a wear poatch is already hapening... needs a big mat outside the door for the first steps. We would definitely stay again

This is a very modern hotel. Our room was very comfortable and clean, I would be pleased to stay there again. Reception staff were very inefficent on our arrival, replacement staff the following morning were more efficent. Breakfast was just ok but this is the case with most hotels in Italy.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
From A12 Genova- Livorno highway, exit at Pisa Centro. Then take the superstrada road, following the Florence direction. Exit at Pisa Nord-Est, following the indications for the centre and for ospedale Cisanello hospital. At the first traffic light, turn right into via delle Torri. After 200 metres, you will find on the left the hotel San Ranieri.

By train
From Pisa train station, take the bus line 13 or 14, getting off in front of the hotel, or take the bus LAM blue, getting off 200 metres from the hotel.

By airplane
From Pisa airport, take the red LAM bus leading you to train station. The take the take the bus line 13 or 14, getting off in front of the hotel, or take the blue bus LAM, getting off 200 metres from the hotel.

It's very easy to park at the San Ranieri hotel. Guest will find 100 private parking lots and a garage for about 50 cars.
