Our stay was great. We recieved excellent value for our money. The food was great. The only complaint we had was noisiness in the room. The walls were way too thin. And the couches in the Lobby could be replaced :)

Excellent, clean hotel, friendly staff, even the chamber maids, easy to find good location. Particularly good for families. I would go again, and would recommend to other people.

I travelled with my wife. We only need this hotel to stay overnight and to get breakfast for two times. In case of our competition it was absolutely required to get a bathroom with good quality of light an big mirror(s), because we had to put on exact make up, etc. The bathroom was very fine! The breakfast was very good in quality and quantity. When we'll get the chance to compete once more around the area of Barcelona, we'll try to book Pineda Palace again. best wishes and regards Norbert Schade Germany

attenzione se prendete ad agosto una camera quadrupla: a noi in una doppia hanno messo due brande! la cosa era al quanto orribile, soprattutto perchè lo spazio era limitatissimo. l'hotel è un quattro stelle ma se le camere sono usate da coppie in doppia, in quel caso la camera è spaziosa e l'armadio sufficiente! ma non prendete la quadrupla!!!! oltretutto la sauna e l'idromasaggio costano 5 euro l'ora a testa e la palestra è un buco con una bici, uno step e due attrezzi! io lo consiglio per una coppia ma non per l'uso in quadrupla! attenzione inoltre poichè la città di pineda de mar è vuota: non ci sono divertimenti! andate a santa susanna!!! spero di esservi stata di aiuto!

The hotel is not helpful in case the guest wants to change the room because of noise. We had an ever barking dog in a garden neighbouring the hotel. We repeatedly want to change the room and we received "no" answer. In the mean time bus full of tour guests arrived and left only spending a night. Hotel offered to move us to a different hotel that is not compatible but could not change the room. So, good luck for getting a right room during check in.

The quality of food in the evening buffet is unexpectly very poor and the worst thing is that it is every day the same menù. With a bed-and-breakfast choice, it is a very good staying.

We had full pension, and the food was the worste we ever seen, same to lunch as to dinner. Poor quality -*, the cleanesee of the room was bad. Estimated rating of the Hotel should be -*** (3 minus)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff went out of their way to help. The situation of the hotel was very good - opposite the beach. The whole area was quiet at this time of year but that did not detract from our holiday. the facilities were very welcoming and even at this late stage in the season the hotel continued to offer entertainment.

Very good relationship price/quality,nice place. We find no pictures of hotel in the web before,but the location is beatifull. - No possibility to reserve on-line the seeside (?).

Hotel was excellent. They provided free entertainment each night, which was great. My only complaint was that the food was not very good, but they did provide a lot of choices in their buffets.

The Top Pineda Palace is a fantastically clean hotel with great facilities. The value was outstanding and the rooms were spacious, very well equipped (we had both a bath with overhead shower plus an individual shower cubicle). The nightly entertainment was professional and the bar service excellent. If I had one gripe it would be that the food was never very hot although plentiful and of a reasonable standard. There is a microwave in the restaurant for customers' use which is a great idea for heating up the food! The pool is on the roof (not mentioned in the blurb) and has great facilities including a rooftop bar and toilets. Views from the roof are great. Beach and (very quiet) railway just across the road with easy and cheap access to Barcelona. All in all an excellent hotel to which the photos do not do justice. The area surrounding the hotel is quiet with lots of small restaurants and bars but thankfully no discos.

The hotel is great, will recommend, you should warn customers of the railway opposite, and if you go to bed early the noise from the caberet may offend.The hotel deserves the four star rating.

As you can see, I was more than content with my stay in your hotel. The only comment I have is about small things in the room: a bath towel (on the floor) was missing the first day so that I put a towel on the floor, the shower was leaking all over the floor and at the last day there was no toiletpaper so that I finally had to use my own tissues. Also the room was a bit noisy (neighbours etc.) But anyhow I will certainly recommend your hotel to friends, and I would very much like to visit this hotel again. Kind regards, (ps: I cannot really answer the question below: I am a married, working lady with growing-up children and I was travelling this time on my own, to visit one of my children who is working as a tourist trainee in Spain for a couple of months)

The hotel is listed as a 4*, but I would rate it only as a 3* on everything apart from the rooms, which were of 4* standard. The staff are friendly and helpful, however, we had to move our room twice, the first time being a broken mirrored door which was dangerous to our 2 year old son, and the 2nd time due to noise. All rooms at the front of the hotel have a view of the ocean, but EVERY night there is entertainment provided by the hotel and it does not stop until midnight, so if you have small children, I would reccommend you request rooms at the rear of the hotel, there are views of the mountains and all rooms have good balconies, plus it's alot quieter. The food is adequate, but not 4*, especially as it does not change much in choice on a daily basis, and ALL drinks are extra. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are excellently cleaned. We have however made a complaint to the hotel, as my wife slipped and fell at the swimming pool steps, the tiles are very dangerous, as they get slippery at the slightest amount of water, so I advise take great care when going up and down steps to pool area. The response time of the hotel concerning my complaint is so far very poor, as I have not hard anything back more than a week after writing to them. Conclusion. Reasonable hotel for 3*, definately not 4* as advertised by hotel. Staff friendly and reasonably efficient, request rear rooms if you have young family. Food OK.

the hotel accomodations were nice but the noise in the hotel was unbearable. The cleaning staff was very noisy and started their work about 7:30 AM which is not very nice when you are on vacation. It would be great if the hotel would invest in noise reduction such as carpet in the rooms. The surrounding area did not have much to offer in the way of restaurants or quality places to eat. The hotel was nice but the noise will be a big factor in why I will choose not to stay there again.

The Hotel Pineda Palace is an excellent place to stay. Very friendly helpfull staff. The location of the hotel is superb just across the road from the beach and two minutes walk from the train to Barcelona.

our room was above the terrase and the noise was terrible. in 3 days the room was not cleaned (the floor) and the glasses were not washed. one possitive: they found a a shirt we forgot in previous visit.

This was by far the best deal we found on our whole holiday. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the buffet included in the room was well worth the price and the room was stunning and clean. Would recommend it 100 percent.

Top Pineda Palace is a great bargain. A four-star hotel that is competively priced and about 50 minutes away from Barcelona, it is a great place to stay adjacent to the beach. If you have transportation, this hotel is one of your best choices. If you do not, it may become boring after about three days. The staff was professional, courteous, and respectful. The cafeteria was slightly noisy, the food was average, and the service was good. Overall, it is well worth the money you pay.
