Excellent staff who really made us feel welcome. We were the only English speakers and staff even printed menus for us in English. Hotel wes very well managed. Rooms and corridors were very clean. The pool area was spotless throughout our time there. The hotel is ideal for young families. Most residents were young Italian families. Kids were very well behaved. Resort offers a variety o activities suited to all age roups but s particularly family friendly. Kids and teenagers are wll catered for in this resort.

Nice place cloose to the beach and small town (Marina di Pietrasanta) - with swimmingpool, balcony, private parking. Good starting point for visit to Lucca, Pisa and Firenze.

wir waren eine woche im hotel suisse und hatten einen sehr schönen auftenthalt. was ich nicht ok finde ist, dass bei den hotelleistungen ein privatstrand angeführt wird. für mich entstand dadurch der eindruck, dass die benutzung inkludiert ist. leider ist dass nicht der fall.

Very nice atmosphere, helpful and willing staff, clean rooms, good food, decent choice of wines. Good place for a family with kids while trying to avoid noice of busy resort.

This was a typical Italian seaside hotel. You immediately felt welcome and all the staff seemed as if they wanted you to have a nice time. The dinner was excellent and very good value. Nice pool area. Our bedroom was tiny but had everything necessary and the bathroom was lovely and clean. The breakfast was OK with the best croissants I have ever tasted!Just be careful when you book the beach. You can have the more expensive (and nicer) sun beds with a lockable box,towels and awning or the cheaper umbrella and deck chairs.

Il personale si è dimostrato molto gentile e disponibile.Accurata la pulizia. L'hotel è vicino alla spiaggia, che però è piuttosto cara (30 euro al giorno).

I would like to say special thank to people working in the hotel. They are really professionals and do their work greatly. Marina di Pietrasanta was too quite town for me, but it is only about my temperament, i stayed there 2,5 days, was enough to enjoy the sea and get chocolate sunburn =) Best wishes, Elena

We like the hotel, I think more or less all of them are the same. We only spend a night but I realised it is a place to relax. Good for going in a bike, walking ang have pasta everywhere sorrounded.

We had 3 lovely days at Hotel Suisse. The hotel has grat facilities and the staff were friendly and helpful. The public area at the hotel are fantastic. The hotel is within a very short walk to the beautiful beach and a short walk to many restarants.In the hight of summer I think the Hotel Suisse would be an excellent place to stay. It seemed well set up for the hot weather.

The staff were very friendly and helpful although their English was very limited. The menu's were only available in Italian and German, it would have been helpful to have also had this in English. The Hotel was very clean, the rooms were a little on the small side but overall everthing was fine for a 3* hotel. If you're staying here you'll need a car.

We found the location excellent, with the shops being a 10 minute walk away. We had overlooked the probable need to book on a HB basis (as is the norm in Italy), so would point out that other than pizzerias there is very little choice of places to eat out. The swim pool is fine but the photo does not match reality! Bedrooms lack noise insulation. Overall a good 3* star hotel, well located for Pisa, Lucca and wider afield.

Our only quibble is that the competence of the staff to speak English was irritating in that it created a few minor problems for us. They insisted in treating us as Germans even though they had taken our passports and should have known that we were Irish. Of course I understand that we were visitors in their country but they are the professionals and though we have been to Italy many times we had not had those difficulties before. Overll however we found the hotel very pleasant and we enjoyed our holiday. Arrivederci :-)

Our stay at the Hotel Suisse was excellent overall, we only had two or three minor gripes. You may conclude from the website, as we did, that the Beach Service is included in the price, this however is not the case. It actually caost €20 per day including €3 discount for hotel guests. Also the beach service seemed to be fully booked a lot of the time, fortnuately we found the pool area to be very good. The Hotel information pack in our room was in Italian, French, and German only and you have to check-out by 09:30.

it was a nice stay there. very close to the sea side, near to the city. very good price for June at Versilia. The room are simple but not to small and clean. There are many language spoken. I loved the small pool, which is included in the price like the brakfast
