It was pretty good as its location. Morning shower was a bit of worry...not enough hot water. However, staffs are good, the room was clean and had good enough space. Very near to Metro. For Budget traveller, it is a fantastic hotel but could be disappointed if you fancy more of luxurious Paris.

The staff were helpful and friendly, despite a little bit of a language barrier(our fault, though). It was nice to have a friendly, familar base to return to everyday - particularly in such a big, busy city. The location was truly fantastic - which made the rate almost worth while alone.
We stayed at Hotel de la Tamise around NYE. We found the rooms to be comfortable, but cosy. Given you are in the middle of Paris and space is at a premium, the rooms are totally okay. They were clean and the beds were comfortable. There is no internet available at the hotel and internet halls can be a little elusive in the 1st Err.
However, like I said the location is fantastic, the staff are friendly and the room is sufficient (re: comfort, noise, warmth etc). The minature lift is also an experience! Definitely worth checking this one out. 4/5.

The hotel is ideally located and being in the 1st arrondissement its a tourist's delight. All the main tourist locations are at walking distance i.e. Louvre, place vendome, Jardin des tuileries, Les Halles, Comedie Francaise etc..the station and shopping areas too are close by. Within it has the decor of bygone era with modern facilities.

As any other place in Paris, it is well served by subway. It is very near the Louvre Museum but surroundings are not so exciting.
Terrible noise in the room due to the old-fashion lift. Not very warm welcome by the owner of the hotel, not available to be of help in giving information. Impossible to have breakfast if you are one minute late after 10 o'clock.

First- excellent location and neighbourhood. The room was very small but quiet. Everything is in the spirit of the 19th century but I like it! The staff doesn't speak English well but rather friendly. The breakfasr is more than too modest: just a glass of juice, coffee, two rolls. Coud be much better! In general - good memories

It’s good that breakfast is included (many places charge), but petit déj is really 'petit'. The best thing is that the staff is friendly and helpful for anything. The style is old, which is ok, but there’s only a bath + shower attachment, no shower hook. Our twin room was quite big and looking out, we could see the Tuileries. All was clean and comfortable; but need to sort the tiny coffin lift!

Very old but convenient hotel. Even antient. But it is situated opposite the Louvre in the historical center of Paris and for my visit it was the most important! And price was quite reasonable for stay!
Thank you, Paris and Venere and De La Tamise!

The good things were the absolutely fantastic location, the cleanliness of the hotel and probably the breakfast.
The bad things were the tiny room we got on the last (5th) floor of the hotel, especially considering that the elevator goes to the 4th floor only, and the 5th floor room has slanted ceilings which makes it even smaller, the fact that we got charged an extra 60 Euro for a four night stay for two due to some city tax we did not hear of before. Good thing we decided to pay a day early to make sure we had enough money.
Other than that, though not cheap for a three-star hotel, the location really made up for it.
An advice - request rooms on the 2nd-4th floors.

small and quiet , nice and clean , decorated in a very french style hotel..its very well located ,at the heart of central paris ..the staff was great , very polite and helpful, providing useful information about sightseeings and the way to get there .. but!! the hotel's greatest privilege is the surrounding area..no need to use the metro ( by the way , tuilerie metro station in less than 100 metres..) u just walk a bit and louvre , tuilerie , orsay , palais royal , concord , champs elysees etc are just in front of u ...its an ideal place to stay if u are a traveler who wants to discover paris greatest sightseeings rather than having a luxurious stay in one of the main and expensive hotels..and for those concerned about the price..ok u dont pay for the outstanding facility but for its great location , the quality of the staff and the style of this place.. :)

I was pleasantly surprised since I expected much worse. The hotel is centrally located close to the museums. The area was very busy in the morning but quite dead at night. The staff was very friendly. The room was rather large considering the fact that the hotels in Paris are notorious for having small rooms. The elevator was small but we did not have large luggage so it was fine for us. The included breakfast was pretty basic. Overall not bad.

The room was very small, dark and dirty. My husband actually couldn't get through the door! The consierge didn't speak either English or French, which is pretty curious when working in France. The sorroundings were ok but the street where the hotel is located is very dangerous at night. I wouldn't suggest it to anybody.

Great hotel, superb location. There's a small elevator (great for handling luggage!) and a good continental breakfast is included. Staff was super friendly. Rooms are very spacious and clean, bathrooms are old but in decent shape.
Only two cons: 1- No internet access (they advertised a slow internet connection, but had none), and 2- There is no A/C and it gets pretty noisy at night if you open the windows.
I would definitely stay there again!

very clean and nice rooms. However!!! the owner is just plain rude and unwelcoming. as if whe is doing the public a favour for allowing them to stay in her hotel.to top all rudeness she managed to overcharge us for breakfast - for an extra milk we requested (coffee was complementary, and we requested black coffee and milk on the side).
As a matter of principal I would never return to that place, and I could only hope that her behaviour and attitude will change as a result of more people reading this comment.

Nice hotel, small, simple, great location. I did have a room right beside the elderly, old-fashioned gate and level elevator though, and the hotel closes its doors after midnight, meaning people buzzed to get in before then ascending in the elderly, old-fashioned gate and level elevator. Noisy.
BUT - it's a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff in a very very good location and the price is superb. All Parisian hotels have small rooms so that didn't bother me, but it is a factor if you like your space. You are within a stone's throw of the Louvre and the metro stop is very nearby. I didn't eat in the hotel so I can't judge the breakfast, but really, with the metro where it is, you have no excuse for staying there for breakfast, you can be up and out to your destination in minutes, where you can then eat as you please.
If you're not used to the style of small Parisian hotels, you might be shocked, but this is not my first trip and this is a nice little spot. Maybe not so great for families or couples seeking luxurious romance. For 90 euro a night in that location though, and it's clean, I wouldn't turn my nose up at it.

Hotel staff is very kindly. Location is great. Sometime little bit noisy, but I don't care about it. I have no idea about Spaciousness of rooms, cuz I am small person. It's not bad for me about Spaciousness of rooms. I will stay this hotel if I go to Paris again.

Just what you can expect from the price. Very nice location, close to Louvre Museum, Palais Royal...
Clean rooms, staff very kind.
But my room was very noisy (near Rivoli Street with heavy traffic).
And the breakfast was not a "rich continental breakfast" as mentioned in the ad.
