Hotel Colon is a little an old hotel but it has all you need. The rooms are clean but no so large. At the reception the employees are not so competent but quite nice. The hotel is located very close to placa d'espania in the centre of Palma where there is the bus station. From there you can go everywhere by bus, the see is 20 minutes far from there. To summurize this hotel is not the best, but it's ok if you don't pretend too much and if you want to stay in the city center.

This is without doubt the worst hotel i have ever been too. To start with the couple were very rude on the reception, they demanded pay before i could check the room, I now know why! The hotel and room were awful. The bed had cigarette burns all over it as did the all the furniture, the bathroom was disgusting, the light fittings were hanging off the walls and the bathroom door was falling apart with nails exposed. I cant believe i payed for this, when i got down stairs to complain, they suddenly couldnt understand!!! It was so bad it ruined my girlfreinds trip to palma and we had to go and stay in a hostel! I have all the pictures to prove any of the above. It may be 1 star but it was awful venere should be embarassed to have this on the site.

Hotel Colon is in an excellent location for exploring Palma. The room was perfectly clean, but stank of cigarette smoke and was in a poor state of repair. Non-smokers should choose another hotel!

Gute Lage direkt an einer Ausfallstraße (also nichts für Ruhesuchende). Kein Parkplatz (Achtung Knöllchen). Heizung war für Januar absolut zu schwach.

We did not need and use the TV set (that was provided) but would have appreciated a small refrigerator and/or an air conditioner that were not given. Most of the other things were O. K.

The place was old, terribly hot (I think we slept a couple of hours in 3 nights) and the lift didn't work. There was a lot of noise and the people wasn't too kind. The last day we had to left at 12.00, and we have been told that we were late because it was 12.02!

The location was very good in an area convenient for trains and buses, in an attractive tree lined road with several restaurants and bars. The hotel room was quiet and characterful with en suite facilities and a pleasant ambience. The holiday was very much let down by a couple of details as follows;- On arrival I found the receptionist ( 1 of about 4 working on rotation) surly and unhelpful. I do not speak Spanish but he seemed to be 'taking the piss' and I had to do my upmost to avoid him thereafter. The lift did not always work as it required the door to be shut manually on the ground floor which was inconvenient as I was on the fourth floor. The toilet leaked across the bathroom floor and on this basis I was unable to use it.
