Although I had a reservation, when I arrived to the Hotel I hadn’t room available. The Hotel service gave me the chance to sleep the first night in a special room that was not available for customers because it was in a “special location” in the Hotel at half price. We accepted because it was late at night and all the hotels in the city were full. Just entering in the room we realize that the sheet in the bed was incredibly dirty and wet and the worse was when we found a beetle in the toilet. Then we complain about the unacceptable conditions in the room and we were moved to another hotel. The second day we were promised a special room with views but it was not like this. After all the day complaining we get a discount for the rooms and free breakfast and dinner. Besides this “exceptional” situation the Hotel was nice but old. After all, the manager behaved properly.

A good hotel, although we have found a big "cucaracha" (beetle) in the bottom of the swimming pool that has been left there for days!!

We got a very good deal on this hotel from Venere.com. However our stay was ruined by the extremely rude and unhelpful staff at this hotel. The food was very poor. The bar was very expensive - and we were interrupted to pay for our drinks while enjoying some nice conversation as the bar staff wanted to asked to finish for the night - even though the bar was packed and people were all waiting for a drink. The room, while spacious and clean, was very noisy. At 4am the rubbish truck spent 30 minutes loading rubbish which woke us up. Then at 7am, the people in the next room took their shower - and it felt like the shower was in our bed the noise was so loud. I conplained to reception as I though there was a leak since the water sounded as if it was gushing down - we got no satisfaction. Then I accidently left my ipod in the room and when we returned to ask about it a couple of days later the receptionist shouted at both the other staff and at me and i got no satisfaction then either. I was very disappointed by this attitude and it was not very professional.

Excellent hotel for the price. We had a wonderful view of the sea and the city from our fourth floor balcony.
