The employees at this hotel were very rude and acted as if they could not be bothered to assist with ANYTHING at all. They lied to us about having a fitmess room, we inquired about a taxi a day in advance b/c we were leaving for the airport at 4:30a.m. the guy at the desk said we didn't need to book one in advance that there would be a taxi available at the taxi stand that early in the morning. I thought this was BS, so we later went back to the front desk when another employee was working and he said, yes we definately needed to reserve a car if we were leaving that early and he then called to reserve the taxi for us for the next morning. The city was beautiful but the people were RUDE RUDE RUDE EVERYWHERE. Someone should take a huge CRAP on the city of Palermo. VA FANGUL!!!

hotel fine for money I paid. Rooms could be cleaner. Noise from next room very audible in bathroom, but ok in bedroom. Breakfast standard - rolls etc, but plenty of it. If you're just looking for a basic place to sleep, this hotel is fine.

Our stay at the Hotel was pleasant. It was within walking distance of the main train station and in close proximity with great restaurants. Staff were pleasant, if not overly friendly. We went to the open markets, which were quite impressive. The entire town seems to be under renovation. Some restaurants don't start serving dinner until 9pm. It worked for us, but might be a problem for some.

The hotel has a great price/quality ratio, in a central strategic location.
It has been almost perfect for my business trip.
Employies have been very kind and warm, professional and ready to help.
For leisure or holidays is perfect, if you book it for business consider that the bar in the lobby is open just after 6.00 pm (this can be improved, I think) and unfortunately it is not so easy parking the car very close to the hotel.
You can find around at few walking meters great restaurants, bar, and the center of the town as well as the Palermo's harbour.
Hope this help you.
Ciao

The Hotel was very nicely located the only problem we had was with the personnel that worked at the hotel. They did not want to help us at all, not very good customer service skills. We had to figure everything out for ourselves. When we arrived they didn't even offer us a map for that matter our room was not available. The hotel tends to prefer older couples. There were no children in the hotel. This place is more for people without children.

Hotel location was very convenient. Airport limousine bus driver took us in front of the Hotel, that I did not worry about to find the Hotel when it was in mid night. Some clarks speak good English, but some not.

Overall nice hotel, clean and quiet despite being in center city. Museum at 100m, 10min. walking to "Quattro Canti" and about 15min. to the Cathedral. Parking is 50m away but indipendent from the hotel (cost 12 euros per night and great disponibility and service). A fair accomodation to remember for next time.

- room directly opposite noisy elevator(-motor?): heard every stop.
- thin plastic cups in bathroom / shower not very spaceous.
- very loud music-tv in breakfast-room.
- location perfect / 5-minute-walk to airport-busstop.
- contrary to the text, mastercard was accepted.

We had a triple with three adults and found the room spacious enough and with good furniture and a great bathroom. it was a very good value in comparison to many hotels used on an 8 week vacation through Europe. The desk staff was my one complaint, they were not very friendly or helpful.

The traffic noise from one of Palermo's busiest streets, 24x7, affected our enjoyment of an otherwise pleasant stay. When the double-glazed windows are closed, the noise is muffled, but then room gets stuffy.
The breakfast was better than average (more choice).

This hotel was such a pleasure to stay at. The staff were wonderful to us. It was very easy to find the hotel and it was located in a nice part of town within easy walking distance of the main attractions. The bathroom in our triple room was spotless and there was a huge bath - what a treat. Wish we could have stayed longer. Loved it.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Cristal Palace, but didn't like the view from our room as it would have been nice to have the curtains open, especially as the weather was nice, but this wasn't possible due to the awful view of the back staircases. This gave a very claustraphobic feel to the room. Aside from this the staff on reception were helpful.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Cristal Palace. The location of the hotel is superb. The cleanliness and comfort of our room were a true value and the staff was unfailingly helpful and informative. thextremely

It took me 30 minutes with my heavy suitcase to walk to this hotel from central station. If I took a taxi, it would take 5 minutes with 10 euro. Also the bus station from airport was quite near the hotel but the staff of this hotel didn't show me how to get the hotel for the reply of my answer from airport.
