We just stayed 1 night on our way south, but it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel was in a good location, the room was spotless (just been redecorated) and the staff were friendly.

We stayed in orleans for a week in July in order to look for an apartment to rent for a future move to the city. A week is a long time to spend in any hotel, but we certainly didn't feel jaded by the end of it. Hotel Marguerite is cosy, comfortable and clean. We had a newly refurbished room, which was small but very pleasant. The owner of the hotel, Mr Ferreira is on hand during the day to offer help and a smile. All the staff were kind and welcoming. We could also get free WIFI in the room which is great if you bring your laptop or are on business. Breakfast is typically French - croissants and hot drinks. The hot chocolate is very good. The hotel is centrally located, a walk from all the amenities, the cathedral, bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Orleans either on business or pleasure. You can't do better and the price is excellent for what you get.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By train
Orléans train station lies around 800 metres/0.5 miles from the hotel. You can reach the hotel by the only tramway line available. Get off at Royal Châtelet stop.

By airplane
From Paris Orly international airport, around 120 km/74.5 miles away, guests can reach the hotel by train or by the private shuttle-taxi service directly to the hotel.

TRANSPORT SERVICES

Street parking is free of charge from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. Moreover, the private parking area of St.Paul lies 100 metres/328 feet from the hotel and costs €5,30 for 24 hours.
