This facility is away from it all, yet close to Marbella and Costa del Sol. The grounds are beautiful, and there is wonderful hiking. This location is a great place to relax or hike, and read for a few days. Our older children wished we had stayed a few more days. The food and wine was excellent. Make sure you have documentation of your reservation including breakfast. Fortunately, they honored the webprice even though the confirmation did not mention that breakfast was included.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
From Malaga city or Malaga airport, take the A-7 motorway, direction Benalmadena-Algeciras. Pass Benalmadena, pass Fuengirola, and in Marbella, take the Ojén ( A-355 ) exit and keep going towards Coín (do not take the little road to Ojén). At about 11 km from Marbella, at the crossroads, you will find on your left, sign to Refugio de Juanar. Take this small road and follow up until you arrive to the hotel (about 5 km).

By airplane
From Malaga airport, take a train until Fuengirola, then take a bus until Marbella or Ojén.
