Hotel La Posada del Angel - Ojén

La Posada del Angel is a beautiful little hidden gem, staff courteous and very helpful, good value for money. Car access to hotel is possible although restricted because of its location and there is parking available nearby. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be going back. Ojen, a picturesque little white town, is well situated for a walking holiday and has a couple of good restaurants.

Superb hotel in a lovely location. Very warm welcome and enchanting surroundings. What a pity that the mattress was impossibly hard. Our room had an enchanting view on the interior patio, was very well isolated from the outside, but unfortunately we heard every word spoken by our neighbours coming in at 1am and leaving at 5am ! The walls are very thin which is too bad. Breakfast is very nice : complete (including eggs, cheese, hams, fruit salad...), not a buffet but servings were enough. There are 2 parking spots just in front of the hotel, one was available for us but unfortunately the little streets were not practicable with our large car. We left it half a mile away and carried our luggage.

A lovely individual hotel in a pretty 'white village'. Check out also the Museo del Vino de Malaga for some great wines and pottery.

The only remark we have is, that we asked for a babybed and they did not have it. First by email and later when we made the reservation we asked again for a babybed. By email we get the answer that this was no problem. But when we arrived there was no babybed avaible. They solved it by give us a bigger bed, so we can sleep in it with the three of us.

La Posada was, without doubt, one of the most charming hotels we have ever stayed in. As a former Director of a travel company with particular responsibility for inspecting and vetting hotels my eye is, perhaps, more critical than most. We could not fault La Posada - an absolutely delightful place to stay - and will certainly return. With sincere thanks...Michael Pollard
