The staff here were all really nice, happy to help out and mutilingual, but the hotel is an incredible rip-off just for the Nice factor. The walls of the room were really dirty and it smelt like sewerage which lingered for the whole time and became stronger when other rooms used their bathrooms. For location it's right in front of the station and a short walk to the old part of town so that's worth it. The garage is private, you pay, and it's a bit scary (no lighting and dodgy looking people hanging around the doors), better to get the train in if you can.

very nice place to stay. the room was not too big, but clean; just what we needed. the street in wich it's located it's not wonderful, but it's just in front of the station and next to the centre. very very nice staff, spoke 3 languages and very good price!

Neighbourhood not too great (in/near red light district), but conveniently located to the train station and walkable to Nice attractions. Parking must be reserved ahead to be available (was not clear at reservation time) as available parking is very limited.

Everything was going excellent at the beginning of our stay at the hotel, especially in comparison with the reviews... the area is somewhat non-touristy but not close to as seedy as was suggested by some reviews... the location was incredible... the staff was friendly.. the room was tiny but how much room do you need anyways? But then I went to take a shower in the morning and the entire shower unit fell onto me. Not a pleasant experience that tainted my view of the place, but my wife still enjoyed the place quite a bit especially in comparison to the price.

We stayed at the hotel for 8-9 days. It was handy in that it was just a stairway and across the street from the train station and tourist information. The walk to the Promenade was about 10-15 minutes and rather enjoyable. The actual area of the hotel seemed to be a bit red-lightish but the price made up for that and it didn't bother us. It may bother other people. We had a small room but since we were out and about all day, it was just a place to crash. The room was always tidied but we were never given "new" sheets during the stay. The staff was kind, except for one man who randomly worked the night shift at the front desk. Overall, our stay was fine.

this hotel was a bit difficult to find and it was in a fairly "seedy" area. parking was severely limited and the view was non-existent. the rooms were tiny and clean, but the hallways and exterior were dingy. conveniently located adjacent to a few local strip clubs and dark alleys.

Actually it was a good stay. We had no anticipation for the hotel being other that a rat-nest and we were positively surprised. The room was just as spacy as the bathroom. There were some downsides. The walls weren't clean when looked upon in daylight and some parts(the shower) had seen it's better days. The hotel was situated very close to the train station, which is a good thing. Another thing close to the train station is the red light district. If you like strip clubs you probably like the location. In all it was well worth the small amount of money we paid.

I stayed 4 days in the hotel, and I was disappointed, the corridor was dirty, however the room is clean but very basic and small. The worst of all is the noise I barely could sleep and there is no good tv channels only 8 not even french channels .location is just next to the train sation that's the only good thing.

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed in and is one of the dirtiest hotel with unhelpful staff one of whom cursed in French when we informed them that the airconditioning and the door lock were broken on the room thinking we would not understand. The rooms are like cell cubicles and paint was on the floor after peeling off the walls in the corridors. As one that is involved in the provision of hospitality accommodation and does a lot of travelling I found it appalling and I moved hotel to another hotel to complete my stay in Nice.

Considering the price/quality, Ayri would be a good choice. It is very convenient to get there from Côte d'Azur airport and the gare SNCF is just in face of it. The air conditionner did not function. Otherwise, it was a pleasing stay.

The hotel is very clean and near to the train station (ideal to go to Montecarlo, Antibes, Cannes..). For this price it's not possible to ask more, and it's one of the best budget hotels that i've ever tried. Don't look to the esternal appearance, it's a good choice!

You definitely get what you pay for. For the price we paid, we couldn't have expected more. It was very convenient..right accross from the train station. We were still able to walk to the beachfront from here; but there weren't many dining options around the hotel. Also, the area around the hotel is definitely not for families. For the money, it was ok; but if you are looking for quality, I would definitely look to pay more somewhere else.

Appena rinnovato, tutto ottimo, rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. La zona non è un gran che, è proprio davanti alla stazione e come in tutte le stazioni ferroviarie del mondo le persone che ci sono nei pressi sono sospette.

In a nutshell " You get what you paid for " (not even a dustbin in the room or toilet) and don't expect your room to be made daily. Location being opposite the train station is perfect as you can buy a day train pass that takes you up to Monaco and Italy and back down to Cannes. Overall stay was a pleasant one.
