The 30 guest rooms and suites at the Lamothe House Hotel reflect perfectly the authentic Creole and French Colonial architecture that has made the French Quarter so famous. All of them, suitable for single or double occupancy, are filled with decorative fireplaces, original antique furniture or faithful reproductions.
Surrounded such unique decor, guests will feel transported back in time to the 19th Century. Either facing the inner courtyard, overlooking the goldfish pond, or situated in the cozy cottage, these charming guest rooms and suites all come with an en-suite bathroom and some have balconies.
They also feature other modern conveniences to keep you in touch with modern life, such as free wireless Internet access, cable TV, direct dial phone, hair dryer, heating and individually controlled air conditioning, alarm clock, iron, ironing board and a writing desk. they first gave us an unbearably tiny room because we had booked via Venere at a cheaper rate. When the shower didn't even work they reluctantly gave us a better room and our stay was just fine after that. the general maintenance man was the best, most accommodating I've ever seen. Service excellent
