Budget travelers. I traveled with my wife. daughter and son-in-law. This hotel is conveniently located close to cafes, buses, train and metro. Neighborhood is a bit scary looking, but we were never threatened in any way.

The hotel and the room was OK, but the handbag of my girlfriend was stolen right in front of the entrance of the hotel. The car was two meters away from the hotel, when a man came with a motorbike. I was just searching something inside the car and didn't see the robbery.
The street of the hotel is dangerous because of robbery.

un pò difficile da trovare ma tutto sommato un buon albergo. L'unica pecca è che la sera la zona non è una delle migliori. Il garage convenzionato è poco distante ed è l'unico modo per tenere la propria auto al sicuro

Naples is shady to begin with, so this hotel, considering the city itself, was a good experience. The pluses are that it is within five minutes walking distance of train station, excellent staff service, very good breakfast (excellent coffee!) and helpful owner. Drawbacks are that because you are so close to the train station, people around there are somewhat shady and I would not venture outside the hotel after dark. Area also seems gritty, but I guess the whole city looks like that so the hotel was a plus in the sea of dinginess. We were there only one night en route to Positano, so the whole circumvesuviana/train station experience was somewhat dismal for two female travellers. Hotel stay was good though, and there is a bar on the corner right outside the train station and on the was to the hotel where we bought a feast of spaguetti with mussels, mushrooms all'allio, potatoes, margherita pizza and a bottle of red wine for 26 euros. We took this meal to the hotel and the experience was great. Would recommend this hotel.

A clean and despite the very central location, quiet hotel for rooms out the back.
Rooms are of sufficient size and are equipped with a safe / strong box
The breakfast could be improved if only the waiter on duty would show more interest in his work but if asked, he would refill the milk and replenish things which have run out (joghurt, rolls etc) durimng the breakfast time.
The only drawback of the hotel is that returning after midnight is not a very safe proposition due to the closeness to the central station with prostitution all around. Before midnight it's perfectly OK and safe (As safe as it can be in Naples as a whole).
Very easy access to the train station, ALI bus to the airport and lot's of public transport options.

TheSign of Hotel Delle Nazioni tells that it's a 3 star hotel. The raiting according to us is 2+ as our room contained only the beds, one table and one chair. Another chair would have been needed as well as a reck for the suitcase. Then the hotel could be a 3- star hotel. The breakfast was all right according to Italian specifications, I guess. We didn't notice any shortages but we were always already at 7 in the breakfast room. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean all the time (we stayed 3 nights). The location of the hotel is excellent; 10 min walk from Napoli Centrale and 15 min walk to Stazione Circumvesuviana (trains to Vesiuvius, Pompeii and Herculaneum = Scavi Ercolano). 30 min walk to Museo Archeologico Nazionale (a must if visiting Pompeii and/or Herculaneum), 20 min walk to Spaccanapoli (small work shops etc) and 15 min walk to Duomo di Napoli. Napoli seemed to be a very nice place and not at all as bad as its reputation is.

The hotel is in an ideal location for transport links.
The area is quite at night-time, though the room wasnt so quite because of neigbouring rooms and noise travelling up from the reception.
The twinroom was fine; well equiped, and clean as was the en suite. But would be a squeeze for two.
Breakfast is frugal, and quick.
All in all, worth a revisit.

Our hotel visit was very pleasant, but we had quite a bit of difficulty finding the hotel. It is only a few blocks off of the Piazza, but when we asked for directions, either people didn't know where the hotel was or we got different directions. But we eventually found the hotel and the staff was very welcoming.

This hotel is conveniently located by the train station, but its entrance is in a quiet alley so you escape the noise and chaos of the surrounding area. The staff is incredibly pleasant, and the breakfast was quite good.

Naples is a very loud and dirty city. To enter the hotel was like enter an eden. The surroundings close to the railwaystation is good for traveling in and outside of Naples, but of course also very dirty. The hotel is superb. Good breakfast. Clean room and the staff knows what you need to know about Pompeii.

Hotel is located in the slightly unsavoury central station area, but at least it's convenient if you arrive by train. The hotel was reasonably easy to find with the map given, and the rooms and central areas were all clean and tidy. The bathroom was also clean, although the shower was tiny. The only real negative was the guy on reception when we arrived. He had a girlfriend or someone there he was chatting to and he made us feel we were a real inconvenience to him by making him actually get up and give us our keys etc. Other than that, our stay was fine.

One of the staff told me: "I don't speak English", and he was on the phone all the time. The cleaning lady didn't come to my room and did her job. The boss of the hotel didn't do anything to this. We were very disappointed with the service.

be aware of taxi drivers, they will may charge you extra ( 30 euro ) if they realize that you were not before, from airport is not more than 15 euro, with Alibus 3 euro or with usual bus 1 euro ( 3 euro al the day - Giornaliero ) motel is OK , ( except of the heating in winter, doesn't work )

While we were there, main square was undergoing huge renovation and so lots of dirt and equipment. This is not the fault of the hotel which was very helpful. Parking was just around the corner and was also good.
Reception area is very small which was a bit off-putting at first. However the rooms were clean and quiet, the beds comfortable, the shower water hot and the breakfast very nice. Staff were all friendly. I would go back.

The hotel has been newly renovated and was very clean. The area where it is located is a 5 minute walk from the central train station; however, the neighbourhood is not very pleasant or clean. I heard the tourist area is down by the harbour but if you are just stopping over in Naples and using the trains like we were, then this place is perfect.

Small room but very clean and comfortable. Decent location with short walk to the train station. Close to the interesting fish and fruit market. I would stay again, especially for the value due to low room rate.

The Hotel manager was OK, but the desk staff were more interested in surfing the net, rather then helping anyone. They could hardly find time to take their eyes off of the PC screen! MSN Chat room obsessed! The breakfast was pretty basic, but the area was nice and clean. The choice of cereal was, Cornflakes or cornflakes! Never any choice! Also same type of bread each day.I expected some sort of variety. A bit of fruit on the table would have been nice. Overall a pretty poor show. The maids constantly smoked is the corridors between cleaning rooms, so it was a bit smelly for a non smoker. I am a regular traveller, this is probably the worst, in quite a few years!
PS We stayed In Naples, because of the easy rail access to Pompeii, which was a stunning place to visit, not to be missed!!!!

I stayed 10 days in that hotel and I am very satisfied: the staff was very helpful (they will try to communicate with you in your own language whenever possible- of course, some measure of efforts on your part is still a prerequisite!)and the hotel was both very clean and affordable. Plus, if you have to go around the region, it's a 2 mn walk from the metro/bus/train station. The person at the reception will provide you with a map of Naples and help you find the bus line you need. The only (small) problem is actually finding the hotel: it's situated on a very small street which does not automatically appear on maps (it didn't on the one I had brought). The train station has a special booth to help guide you, should you need it. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I recommend this hotel.

Hotel molto carino e pulito. Accoglienza buona, le persone molto gentili e disponibili. Unico neo, che però non ne hanno colpa all'hotel, il casino che si sente tnendo aperte le finestre, anche la notte. Ma a questo si può sopravvivere direi!!

One of the best hotels I've stayed at.
I got a double for single use wich was comfortable, clean and quiet; good typical italian breakfast; but the big plus is the warm welcome and competence of the staff!
I will definitely stay there again...

We had a warm welcome and the office clerk was quite helpful to answer any of our questions. The hotel was very close to the train station as indicated on the map. The Garibaldi area is considered sketchy, but we had no issues in this area of Naples. We would revisit.

Location: a rather narrow street diagonal to the northern side of Piazza Garibaldi (about five minutes walk to the entrance of the main railway station in Napoli); the main streets with historical buildings and numerous shops, bus stops, railway and subway connection are all close; not so difficult to find even during the night time.
Hotel building: the building is in good shape, a small reception area is too close to the entrance and the doors are open during the daytime(look below the stairs in the hotel photo); a special place to leave your luggage; a fine staircase; the bar / breakfast room as in the photo.
Noise/temperature: the street position protects from the noise common to the railway stations; the room was well insulated from the street noise and the direct sun rays (we kept windows closed most of the time due to the nearby front of a residential building); there was air conditioning, but we did not use it, so can not tell if it works.
Rooms: clean and recently renovated (photos are accurate); we got a real double bed; a nice looking medium-sized bathroom with a shower cabin; a phone, a color TV (mostly Italian channels though), a mini bar.
Breakfast: coffee/tea, juice, milk+cornflakes, youghurt, tasty croissants, bread with butter/honey/jam spread; personal service at the bar; the breakfast was sufficiently good.
Staff: there was one guy who hardly spoke English, but otherwise friendly (though quite talkative).
Summary: I would say that the quality-price ratio above average for our trips; if in Napoli I would certainly choose this hotel again; a central location without related problems, good rooms and service.
General things about Napoli: good facilities in the main railway station; the so-called historical center looks rather poor, but exotic; many historical buildings, squares, museums (take some of four walking routes recommended in the official tourist map); exciting landscape; a real metropolitan city with many things to see

Actually, the hotel was really nice and one of the best rooms we stayed in throughout our journey in Italy. The area wasn't great to be out at night. We were even cautioned by the Taxi driver to be very careful as we arrived at night. And he also charged an extra charge for the night trip to the hotel...all of 2 blocks for 15 euros.Ugh! During the day, it was a great location, close enough to walk to the train station without a problem.
A great stopping off place for Pompeii or Rome.
We would recommend it to anyone. And we would stay there again. The night clerk didn't speak English, not a draw back. The breakfast room was quite nice and the staff was great.

A rather pleasant hotel with simple but small room with bath.
Breakfast is served at a nice breakfast room with your choice of cuppucino, espresso, crossiants, bread, butter & jam.
No problems with communicating w little English.
Do take note that no lifts in the hotel so be prepared to carry your luggages up the stairs though.
The Hotel is very convenient to Train Station which is convenient if you want to take a day trip to Pompeii or Sorrento via the train.
We strongly reccommend Capri Island vist, is a beautiful place to visit & via ferry is recccomended for it beautiful sea view.
Thanks Naples we really glad to ve pick the trip down from Rome.
