PRO:
- the room was an apartment on 2 floors
- surrondings were beautiful and calm
- perfect for a short stay
- very good bed
CONS:
- the heating of the room was not on when we arrived
- the shower is really small

The "castle hotel" was located in an absolutely beautiful setting. Our room was a spacious villa not in the main building. My only real complaint was that while reading late one night a roach crawled onto my blanket followed by a small spider!! Breakfast was very nice. The small town is quite lovely and the staff was more than helpful.

The location was superb, the staff outstanding, the facilities as nice as could be. This was a remarkably relaxing stay enjoyed by Europeans and Americans (50/50 split) with most Americans being families with children and most Europeans being couples. I am so hesitant to give it a great review because I want to keep it to myself

This castle is in a very peaceful, beautiful location. The room we checked into had a broken air conditioner and we were able to change rooms without a major issue. The only negative was the breakfast offered. It was 11 Euros(not included in room price) and was very minimal for the price. As the castle is not close to any cafes, there are no alternatives other than a small store near the castle to purchase food.

Stayed off season and got a tremendous deal. Room was fantastic and the spa tub was a godsend after all the showers beforehand. As one of two couples staying in the castle, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. I wish the hammock had been fixed as the wife loves to lay out in one. There was no noise except the wind. The only slightly disconcerting thing is that there is no staff on hand after 8:00 PM. But of course they leave the bar open for you... Would love to stay in the summer when the pool is uncovered and warm.
