My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Hotel Torretta the staff were very friendly and very helpful, the food was excellent and priced very well, everything was great about the hotel apart from the room which I felt could have been cleaned alot better especially the bathroom. I could not fault the service the price amd most of all the staff. I would certainly recommed this hotel to anyone.

Montecatini has a number of aging hotels. Torretta was nice but dated. The common areas were very dated and so were the rooms. The hotel has 4 star facilities with an onsite restaurant etc. but does not look like a 4 star hotel. The family who owned the hotel were very nice and accomodating.

This is a very nice hotel at a very fair price. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The staff appeared better geared to cater for their German clientelle rather than British, but we managed all the same to have a very enjoyable stay. The location is ideal to walk off the late evening meal with a stroll down to the pictureque part of the town and the beautiful spa building. You are only a short walk away from the small train that takes you up to Motecatin Alto with its breathtaking views. The pool was very cold but my wife promised me it got warmer the more you swam. It didn't convince me to dip more than my toes in though. It was September when we stayed there and lounging by the pool was very pleasant, although we suffered later with insect bites, many of them and they were huge. take some repelant with you regardless of how nice it looks out there.

Well positioned for the Spas and Funicular railway , all within very easy walking distance. A good sized room and bathroom, well cared for and extremely clean , plenty of storage space, rooms have minibar and safe provided at no extra cost. Staff very friendly and the food was wholesome, the restaurant staff are keeen for all to enjoy a full Tuscan meal, expect large portions. Good bar and lounge areas to enjoy afterwards, as well as a large pool. Recommended.

La Torretta is a wonderful place to stay during your visit. This family run hotel is intimate and nurturing while providing cost conscious customers incredible value. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well tended to in your absence. The meals, if you choose to take that option, are all 3 courses and just wonderfully cooked. Save room for dessert because it is a family member who is the pastry chef. This region is a wonderful area to be pampered in and you see many wealthy clientele passing through. The service at La Torretta is tailor made for the most demanding clientele. This is where I will stay on every future visit to Montecatini.

Our stay at the Hotel Torretta was superb,The family who own the Hotel make you feel "at home" and are concerned at all times with your comfort,we shall certainly be back at Hotel Torretta next year when we re-visit Tuscany

Excellent hotel run by competent and friendly management and personnel. Plain food. Will certainly return if the opportunity arises.

Friendly staff, excellent food, great service and pleasent surroundings made for a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Minor critical areas would include the investment in new room towels (existing towels are a little threadbare), repair of cracked toilet seat and the lack of drinks service to the poolside throughout the day.
