Too noisy and very poor breakfast, even if it was clean and the staff friendly. Price not justified.

Ok, it was cheap, but the struggle to get there and the incompetence of the hotel staff made it not worth it. It was a quiet area but the walls were thin as paper so you could hear everything the guests were doing in the other rooms.Breakfast was a joke.

It is the perfect structure were to sleep one night, but it is not the sort of fashionable place in which one really desires to stay. The room was nice, the bed comfortable and the loo was acceptable. Breakfast was a bit restained, but sufficient. The stuff was kind.

It is fairly good. They are a 2 star hotel, but I would say it is something in between 2 and 3. Rooms are fine, with bath (and hairdryer), TV, enough space (vault and fridge missing). Breakfast was the typical Italian croissant+espresso, but anything special. A flaw is it is located in the Milan suburbs, I needed to stay there because of business, it is not much dangerous around (I know it cause I have previously lived in Milan), but a bit ugly and surely not a location of choice for tourists. Another possible problem was one needs to go through long stairs to reach the room where I was. Since they say they have disabled access, I guess you would get it if you ask in advance.

in fact the hotel was cute, and the room was extra clean ant the bathroom was beautiful but the water was ice cold most of the time. The area was full of graphatti as was the rest of Italy and we wondered if this is a sign of danger. But we did not have problem in our short time there. The railing on the stair case is loose and very dangrous. and there is no elevator , we had hard time time to take our lagges up stairs. The hotel is quiet close to the bus station and a taxi cost almost 15 Euros to the train station. If we are to come back to Milane, we would not mind to stay againat this hotel if the price was less than 55 Euros to compansate for the small problems we mentioned, and if there would be hot water for sure.

Avoid this hotel!!My wallet was stolen from my bag in room,Im sure it was the person who cleaned our room.So if you go there be aware where is your money and dont leave anything valuables to your room.Only words "im so sorry" from staff. One morning cappuccino-machine was broken.I hope nobody goes to this hotel anymore!

Ottimo hotel. Good hotel, especially if you need to go to Bicoccca or the Arcimboldi Theatre, but also close to the main Central Station (20 min top, by bus). Rooms are all air-conditioned, but you might have to ask at the reception for the remote control. Some noise from the bus station nearby, but with closed windows and air conditioning on I didn't have any problem.

We had a good stay at Hotel Greco, it was clean and staff was friendly. A disadvantage was the location; it is not really centrally situated. Too bad all of Milan's buses parked under our window during the night (buy earplugs!).

There was no problem to receive guests in the room. Just let the frontdesk know that you are expecting a visitor and they are directed to the room. Thelocation was a bit awkward but I enjoyed my stay overall. Public transportation was nearby and convenient as well as a supermarket.

Breakfast was not as good as that mentioned in other reviews - no fruit juice and very limited quantity & options Local restaurants provided good low cost lunchtime fixed price meals. Public transport into the centre was frequent and less than 5 minutes walk away.

The major advantages of this hotel are it's closeness to the city, low prices and relative convenience of public transportation (about one quarter mile away). But it is very hard to find (having a GPS is almost a must if you are driving). Rooms are basic and comfortable, bathroom shower did not have an enclosure. Breakfast is also basic: coffee, juice and a croissant. We were there off-season, so parking was not an issue; it might be if more guests with cars were there. Internet is NOT available. Our only complaint was that we were there in January; it was COLD and the management did not want to turn on the heat or leave it on. We had to ask repeatedly at the the reception for the heat to be turned on. The last night we stayed, the heat was off in the morning and they would not turn it on as we prepared to leave. This situation is unacceptable. Beware if you are there when it is cold, otherwise I would recommend.

The GOOD: Newly refurbished property. Very clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Bus 727 takes you to the city center, very handy. The BAD: The parking at the hotel is limited to one car only. Easy to find parking around the area, but a bit risky. B/Fast a bit too small, few rolls and ham would not be a bad idea for experienced traveller. All in all the price of 54 EURO is just amazing. Great deal will use it again. ROBBY

In general the hotel is really OK, nice, clean and new. There were two small problems however. We got a room very close to the front desk so it was a bit noisy in the morning and it was not a double room but a twin room. The beds were joined together after our demand but it was not the same as a one big bad. But still, we were satisfied because we have paid only 59€ for two persons!

If you bring a car and expect to have a parking, you don't. But it's quite easy to park in the street. Take as much info you can about the location, it's easier to arrive by public transportation than by car. Very clean inside and the employees are quite nice.

VERY good deal. BUT prepare for a major search if you are not used to driving in Milan or large cities - this is not the easiest hotel to find. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not many restaurants nearby. Room was ok. I will go back, now that I know exactly where it is. Parking also can be a major pain. Good for a serious business traveler under tight budgets and good navigation skills.

**************************************************************************** The hotel is a little bit hidden but the location is ok. Welcoming and competence are good. Public areas is very minimal! my room was in front of the desk of the hall, an unfortunate position couse you hear everything they do or speak behind the door of the room, especially when other persons have a breakfast in the morning!

Excellent price/quality relationship. Spotlessly clean and quiet rooms and very helpful front desk staff. The comments I had read about this hotel "nice hotel but terrible location" are exactly right. The location looks to be a quite SAFE residential area but it's rather remote. Hotel is behind construction, next to bus depot, and almost impossible for taxi to find. You need a day or two to learn your way on the bus and the subway to Duomo area(takes 20 min).Buses and subways run frequently until midnite. Greco Hotel is recommended for travelers on a budget who are comfortable learning bus/subway combo. I would happily stay there again.

We stayed 2 nights at Greco and I would say it is a nice place if you want to save money. It is not a five star luxury, but you pay what you get. I was very pleased. breakfast room is in the reception area-do not expect much, but all other things are pretty good. it is only 10 minutes by bus from the central station and so, very near to all places. The surroundings are not spectacular, but you hear nothing from the construction nearby. I would come back again definitely.

Very clean room. I little noisy because it's near from the main bus parking lot in Milano. The breakfast was great, it's included but you have to ask because no body tells you). Don't buy anything in there(like water, sodas, etc.) if you don't want to pay the double. It is located 5 Kms. away of the Milano's main station, but easy to access by bus. I recommend this hotel, it's very good.

Except for the guy that is in the reception of the hotel, everything was perfect. In the begining he was polite but, I don't know what happened after, he was very unpolite. Maybe he was stresed or had a bad day or night. I do not know. But I think you should suggest him that no matter how tired we are, it's important to treat clients fine.

The hotel was a little bit hard to find; easiest to take bus 727 from the Railway Station (duration approx. 10 minutes) but difficult to know where to get off unless the driver helps you. Connections from the hotel to the city center and shopping areas were pretty good; connection with bus 44 right outside the hotel to the subway (red line, stop Precotto). The room and bathroom were very clean and most of the staff friendly and helpful. The surroundings surprised us though; there were 2 construction areas on both sides of the hotel and also a bus terminal right outside our window. But, the relationship between price vs. quality was good, so if you dont mind staying at a hotel a little bit outside the center, I can recommend this one.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay although on our first approach we did have reservations as the hotel looked as if it was on a building site. This was unnecessary as we found it very welcoming quiet and clean. Bit of a problem just once with the water running out half way through a shower, just make sure you get the first shower of the day! The bus service into town is also very convenient and takes about 10 minutes, about 3 euros a day for a travel ticket, bus 727 which stops outside the Central Station.

We stayed in room number4 and were more than pleased with our entire visit. The rooms were, for the price, exceptionally clean and quiet, with an en-suite shower and toilet facility and the light ´continental breakfast´ was an added bonus. At all times the staff members we dealt with were more than courteous, and one in particular went out of his way to help us in a truly professional way. For future reference you need to take bus 727 from the train station, and it takes about 15-20minutes or a taxi cost us about 10Euros. We would certainly consider staying there the next time we go to Milan. Many thanks hotel Greco

The staff was excellent...friendly competent. The room (#4) was large enough with a very nice bath. There was lots of hot water and great pressure. The location was great for us since our daughter and new grandson live only 10 minutes walk away. There was a lot of construction around the hotel so access was sometimes difficult. It was very hot in Milano the week we stayed. Although one description of the hotel said it was air conditioned it was not. Fortunately a small fan we borrowed from my daughter made sleeping tolerable. Perhaps the hotel should consider making such fans available to all of their guests. The only real drawback was the breakfasts. We stayed for seven nights and it was always the same - excellent coffee, package "brioche" and melba toast, sometimes juice, sometimes water. I suggest they figure out a breakfast menu that is different every day of the week. The hotel was convenient to public transportation so we were able to get around nicely. It is definitely not in a tourist area but we found several nice inexpensive resaurants within a few blocks. All in all, we did enjoy our stay and will stay again when we visit our daughter in future.

The hotel personnel did not speak english and it was a bit of a problem with the communication of proper buses/directions into the center of Milano. The room was very expensive for a 2 star hotel, but then again it was the furniture fair in Milan. Every hotel doubles or triple there prices during that period. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpfull. The walls are very thin and noise gets through very easily. At night however the neighbores were quiet and we didn´t encounter to much noise. Breakfast is poor and could be improved upon. It´s location is not optimal and getting into town takes awhile. It´s a two star hotel and it is just that, but it´s an honest two star.

We went for a short break to Milan and we didn't want it to be too expensive so we chose an inexpensive hotel and it was fantastic! Everything was new, extremely clean and welcoming. The room was very large with an ensuite and patio doors which opened onto a patio. There was also a television, telephone, central heating and ample wardrobe space. The staff did not speak much English but were extremely pleasant and helpful. Our room was cleaned every day and we had a plentiful supply of clean towels. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but we were informed that we could choose the time for it and we thought that this was a very personal touch. Hotel Greco is on a bus route but trams were more frequent and easier to navigate and the main road is only a short walk away. There are several trams that took us directly to the main parts of the city such as the cathedral. We would definitely stay at Hotel Greco if we go back to Milan and we would recommend it to anyone else.

We felt the hospitality from Greco hotel. It's better than we expected. Although it's a small hotel which located far away from the downtown, but we felt like living in a warm family. Please convey our best thanks to Greco hotel, we wish we will have chance to live there again.

I had to pay for my whole stay the first minutes when arriving and I unfortunately had to leave one day before for personnal reasons, so I lost the 120 euro of the last night. I regret that it was impossible to be reimbursed. The crew of this hotel is quite sympathetic, but realy unexperienced for the quality of the services they would provide. I won't go back to this realy noisy hotel (Loud TV uppon your head for breakfast and noisy corridor at 7am...).
