I have chosen the hotel because my friends were also booked there. I just thought it would have been easier to meet up. I did't enjoy my stay and will not recommend this place. First, I had to carry my luggage using the steps to get to the reception as there was nobody available to help arriving guests.I was lucky that another guest helped me with my second bag. If you have a bad back, this place is delfinitely not for you. Second, I was told that I didn't have a reservation. As I leaned at the reception to check the list of expected guests, I saw my name. Unfortunately, the first two letters of my family name had been omitted that's why they couldn't find it. Third, the lifts are too tiny and again nobody was there to help me with my luggage. Fourth, although the bathroom was clean, the entire bathroom floor got wet every time I had a shower. There was definitely a leak somewhere around the shower basin. Fifth, the pay tv wasn't working on the last 3 nights of my stay and apparently they couldn't do anything about it. Sixth, the staff at the restaurant for breakfast had long faces (particularly the lady who was on a ponytail and wearing glasses). They gave unhappy looks every time I requested for a cappuccino. Seventh, the room that I got was facing the residential area and was noisy. Eigth, came back to my room one day to find out all the brown powdery stuff on the dresser and under the tv. Found out later on that my bronzer inside my make-up kit was already broken. It's either there was a ghost who likes to wear make-up or a housekeeping staff got curious about what's inside my kit.The only nice thing about this hotel is the seafood restaurant nearby and that the front desk staff are so helpful when you are requesting for a taxi.

Very friendly staff, nice clean room with large bathroom. A bit of a walk from Duomo and historic center, but it's a nice stroll through the park too.

Only one surprise was non-registered reservation, it means: employees did not know about registration over against confirmed reservation by venere network.
