The Lido is just off a busy rather sketchy street around Pizzale Lotto, but is very close to the subway, which will take you almost anywhere in Milan. The area on the other side of Pizzale Lotto is lovely - a real "neighbourhood". The hotel was okay, and the room was comfortable and adequate. The staff was helpful, and referred us to a local restaurant where we had one of the best meals of our trip. It was important to get to breakfast early, as there was little or no replenishment if you were late. Overall, it was reasonably good value for the money.

The hotel is not in the city centre, but the metro is close by so this is not a big problem. The breakfast was amazing compared to other hotels in this price range (which means that it is not to shabby but still worse than anything you would make yourself, except for the chocolate filled croissants :-) The staff was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that the PC (free for 30 min/day) had facebook blocked by a net nanny program ;-)

The hotel is the easiest accomodation for those who wish to be close to the Fiera Milano (Milan's trade exhibition center) it is a short 10 minute walk. In the local vicinity (5 minute walk) one can also find local shops, restaurants, a supermarket and a Metro station.

Clean, comfortable and excellent value. Some way out of the city, but only a few minutes walk from the Lotto metro stop, and twenty minutes walk from the San Siro stadium.

Very friendly staff who were helpful. The room was a little small but well appointed. The price was higher than average during the time of a conference at MIC then less for the last night. We would stay with them again.

Location is not too central, but it is close to the metro so the main sights can be reached in 15-20 minutes. Great value, on quiet street. Breakfast ok, typical European. Although not as much fresh things as some. Would stay there again for the price we paid--65 EUR a night.

Lido was comfortable and the people quite helpful. The surrounding area seemed a little shady, but we were walking and still felt safe. The price was excellent for what we got, and it was the first hotel we had stayed in for weeks that had a bathtub.

I stayed 3 days in Milan with my son to see a football game end visit the city. We have had 2 single rooms. The breakfast was good enough. Simple, enough and a good coffee service. The price-quality rate was excellent and the staff was most kindly. I'have had a pleasant stay end next time when i come to Milan i would like to book the same facility.

We stayed here twice. 1st time at a better rate, and the breakfast served at our first visit was good with more variety than on the 2nd time. Staff speak French and English, and there is internet access in the lobby. Easy access to subway downtown, less than 10 minute ride.

A moderately sized hotel with an international clientelle. Simple to reach the neighbourhood by Metro from the train station. Situated on a small neighbourhood street that is unknown even to the locals.

Nice Hotel - good value (approx 45Euro per night) - close to San Siro. 200 metres to metro,4 stops from central Milan. Room was clean, and relatively spacious, modern. Bathroom larger than you might expect by Italian standards. Staff were nice.Breakfast was included in price and simple, yoghurts, breads, cereals, juices and freshly made coffee.I would visit this hotel again

This hotel is one of the best I've ever been to! Very nice and kind and competenced employees, clean and beautiful rooms. Clean bathrooms. Everything was excelent! If You are looking for a very good, not expensive and well located hotel - LIDO in Milano is the best place to be! We liked typical italian breakfast - light, fresh and tasty!!! Everything was excellent!!! It is obvious that we will come back!!!:) All the best from POLAND - Wrocław and Cracow!! See You soon...:)

This has to be one of the best value hotels in Milan. It's not the most sumptuous, but it is significantly cheaper than most other hotels. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are adequate, if a little smaller than expected, but at this price they are more than adequate. The rooms are very clean and well serviced, but the standard of decor and the state of repair is a little dated... again though, very reasonable at the price. Finally, the location is very convenient, just 2 or 3 minutes walk from the Lotto metro station (about 10-15 minutes from the centre of Mlian) and a pleasant 20 minute walk from the Stadio Guiseppe Meazza (San Siro), so absolutely perfect if you wish to watch AC Milan or Inter Milan.

The staff is very nice, enthusiastic and incredibly helpful. The hotel is basic and not fancy. Do not expect to impress corporate associates. It is clean and a good value for what you get. Coffee, juice and cornetti are included in the lobby every morning. Just enough to get one started. It is well located and not far from Fiera di Milano. The staff is incredibly friendly, personable and more accomodating than larger and fancier hotels. We were very pleased.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lido. Price 75€/night was very good for what it was offering. Very close to a Metro station (Line 1). No internet at the rooms seemed to be the only con. I expected breakfast not to be good from other people's comments but it turned out that it was fine.
