The hotel staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. When asked for a recommendation for dinner, the restaurant was great and they even made reservations. The location is central to most of the sights and the metro. I’d stay there again if I were to return to Milan.

The guests in the room next to ours might as well have been in the room with us. We could hear every word of their conversation, which was upsetting. Also, dividers of some sort should be installed between balconies . . . to provide some semblance of privacy.

Visited Milan for only 2 days during a recent weekend w/ 2 friends. The location of the hotel was just perfect. On a quiet street but still close to the center (10min by walk on cosy streets). One of the most popular pubs and nice restaurants just a few steps away. 15-20min walk till the Duomo and main attractions. Excellent service. Breakfast included (continental but enought choise till 10:30am). The only issue we experienced there was no sign where is the Hotel parking - we found by mistake thinking it was a pay parking on the other street behind the hotel. Do not be surprised if the car key is taken away from you until your last day stay. We felt like movie stars whose car is parked by a Boy.

the front desk is not the most friendly place in Milan. The breakfast can be richer. Not fresh vegetables at all.Rooms are clean.Bathrooms look pretty old. Nice access to main interesting places in the city. A lot of nice restaurants nearby.

Carlyle Brera was very pleasant place to stay. Breakfast very good. Room size was excellent. Metro stop right beside Hotel. Excellent meal at the Officina 12 restaurant in the Navigli District. Also had great chinese meal at restaurant off Via Dante. Went to San Siro Museum and also went to a football match which was great.

I have never been so rudely treated by a hotel staff before. One front desk attendant was extremely nasty. They were dishonest on two occasions and one staff member needs anger management classes. He should not be behind the desk. The hotel is clean and comfortable and well located, but the staff makes it impossible for me to ever recommend this hotel to anyone..

Great location, just in the Brera quarter. Just outside the hotel there is an underground station. Large room, too expensive internet connection (€ 5 per h) and there is not any printer available. The employees at the bureau are not so gentle. The location is too good and so I'll be back there.

The location is excellent in terms of accessability. We were at the edge of the Brera district, giving access to many good restaurants. The Metro is just outside the door of the hotel. The area is nice, and we fully recommend the hotel with one major reservation - there is no airconditioning and the heating was unbearable some nights. We were unable to turn it off. You can open the window, but then you have the traffic noise.
If this doesn't put you off, the breakfast is excellent; we found the staff courteous and professional; the location although quiet is still very central and Milan is certainly worth the visit.

guys dont bother and book here without worries, one of the best hotels around 100euro/night that u can get in Milano, only 2 metro stations from duomo, personnel will treat u excellent, would definitely recommend it than spending 20euro less and not knowing what comes ahead...a real 4* hotel

I'm referring to my previous stay in january..infact this year for personal reasons i had to cancel the reservation. The hotel was so customer centric since they didn't charge me any penalty so i'll suggest this hotel also from this standpoint.

I was on business trip, this was the first time at hotel.
Hotel services and facilities are fine except the ventilation of the room which was poor and not adjustable and all windows are locked close (room was too warm inspite of heating being off and "aircon" on all the time)

Hotel is well situated, in walking distance to the city center and next to a subway station. Possibility to leave the car - 30€ per day (I know it's Milan but 30€!!). Room was okay for the price paid but not beautiful in no way. Breakfast was outstanding good.

The hotel is in a great central location, rooms were clean but there was an unpleasant odour coming from the bathroon .. we suspect it was the biddet. The inclusion of an all you can eat breakfast buffet was a great bonus, lots of fruit to make up for all the breads and pastas that you end up eating throughout the rest of your meals in the city. Service at front desk was kind of abrupt but I think is to be expected of the culture.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location provided short walks to all the major sights, and easy access to trains and metro.
There were many excellent restaurants nearby.
The breakfast buffet was comprehensive.

This is a well-run business hotel in an excellent location near the Brera area and only two minutes from the metro green line. The breakfast is generous and good quality. I alway stay there when I can. The desk staff are rather abrupt but always efficient. There is parking for a fee.

Good value for money at web price paid. Good facilities, close enough to main city sights but not too busy surrounding area. Good breakfast and pleasant room - free internet access very useful for flight check in etc.

Stayed at this hotel for the milano marathon. The location is perfect. Nice area next to the train station. Was reccomended a restaurant nearby with local italian food called "Stenhal". It was the best dining experience of 4 years living in this country.

The rooms and bathrooms are on the small side but well designed and comfortable, although the ventilation could have been better in one case. The location of the hotel is excellent---right next to a metrostop---with lots of good shopping in the neighborhood. The breakfast is excellent, including scrambled eggs and bacon in addition to the standard fare; the coffee and hot water were not always hot enough, however. The staff was competent and helpful if a bit too "big city professional" for our taste. The eventual bill was a few euros higher than the quoted price; we did not inquire as to the reason for that, but it did not involved any extras such as minibar or telephone charges.

No one informed me that the roads infront of the hotel was under construction. Taxi had to stop in a NON-Stopping zone in order for us to bring down our luggage to the hotel, by ourselves, itout much difficulty.

The staff was welcoming, friendly, and competent. We loved the contemporary design of the rooms and public areas, the neighborhood with small but fancy shops, good restaurants. Subway next to the hotel (to railway station etc.) We would love to return!
