It's fine with a outstanding location, but I have certainly been in four star hotels which were more luxurious. I don't get it, although rating inflation seems to be a theme in milan. Certainly stay there if the price is right, but don't expect to be impressed by the hotel itself.

This hotel was probably the greatest one in Milano in the early 80's. Could use a renovation. I paid 140 euros por a double room at a unusual oportunity. The regular price is totaly unfair for what the hotel really has to offer.

Excellent location with wonderfully accomodating and knowledgeable staff. We were cheerfully offered a map for how to best take advantage of a single day in Milan. Luxurious room, delish breakfast at a very good venere.com price.

Rate for the garage really high. I parked my car in the garage for 10 hours and i paid Euro 26,00.
In the hotel information it is shown that hotel offers a garage. But garage is 150 meter far away and do not belongs to the hotel. It is cheaper to pay directly at the garage as to pay it at the hotel.

Single room was very small, specially the bathroom. Situated in a nice area with bars, resaurants and shops. Not far from the subway. 15 - 20 min. walk to the Duomo. I stayed four days, breakfast good, staff helpful but not overwhelming. Quiet rooms. I will return, but preferably in a double room which I expect to be more spacious. The 5 stars could though be a matter of discussion.

We had a three person suite and it was very accomodating for my fiancee and my sister and I. It was about a ten minute walk to the city center to see the Duomo and there are many great local restaurants that you can pop into on your way there. The breakfast was very luxurious and the room was very clean and nice.

I was on a double room for single use, because being at the hotel I changed my reservation. The single room is too small and it's impossible to have a good stay there. But in the double room I had quite a good stay.

This hotel is very misleading from the pictures and description. There was no quality of service with the staff and the surrounding area (grafitti on every possible surface in sight) was not anywhere I would want to be on anything but a business trip or a quick overnight stay passing through town. While it may have been within walking distance (long walks)I would look for better areas to stay if you are going to Milan. The rooms were very dark and dreary and the lights did nothing to make it brighter. We did not eat any meals at the hotel but there were also no good restaurants in the area so we ate near the Duomo. It is a quick cab ride (with bags) to the train for transport to the airport but that is really the only small benefit I saw. Also, 2 times we put the do not disturb sign on the door when we left the room and both times the cleaning people came in anyway - and removed the signs. Since there was not a working safe, we used the "Do not Disbturb" sign because we left valuables in the room. Nothing was taken but I feel any good hotel honors the request of the guests and this was not the case here.

MAINLY WHERE HOTEL FACILITIES/SERVICES ARE INDICATED, DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING STATED! THIS PARTICULAR HOTEL STATES IT HAS PARKING/GARAGE.. NOT TRUE THE GARAGE SERVICE IS 10 MNTS BY FOOT, AND THEY CHARGE YOU 26 EURO A NIGHT FOR PARKING YOUR CAR!! RIDICULOUS.

Ofcourse it is not a 5 star hotel, but it is nice. Sometimes feels like you are in an old casket, all walls decorated with fabric, not wallpapers. Single room is very small and there is no so much sunshine from the window. There were very few guests in the hotel, but on a fifth day of my stay, somebody moved into neighbor room and everytimed they watched tv, I heard it.
It was really hot outside and the very good thing was that the conditioner in all hotel worked perfectly. The brakfast was also not bad, thare were a lot of different serials, fresh fruit salad and many other fruits accasible, caprese salad, many pies, cakes and toasts, different yogurts, sausages, but... no eggs, no omlets. You can only order it for extra money.
Location is good. 15 minutes slow walk from Duomo, or you can take a tram that goes every 10 minuts and be there in 5 minutes (3 tram stations).
Three english chanels on TV: CNN, Euronews and SkyCinema.
To sum up for 119 euro it was almost perfect hotel.

Balance of price and quality is excellent. Good location, quiet and clean rooms. Written guidance services was not found in the room. Speed of problem solving was a bit slow. I'm sure I would stay this hotel next time also.

The room the gave me was smaller than the lift (it was n. 111). It was so small that there was place only for a single bed and a table (A3 size) without a chair (the television was on a shelf on the wall). The moquette is old and smells of soap, the furniture is old.
For 170 € in Milan you can find a better place.
It is a (not so good) 3 stars hotel.

I can only recommend the PIERRE Hotel in Milan. The staff is very competent, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the surroundings, metro, tramway, sightseeing etc... Everybody speaks a decent english.
The rooms are rather small but wonderfully appointed.
The bathrooms are elegant, although a bit small but everything works well.
The breakfast is one of the best I have had in Ialy ! Best quality and variety. The fresh fruit exquisite, different breads, cereals, cheeses --especially the goat cheese !--. Ask for their delicious cappuccino, it´s included !
The location is ideal, close to a tram station taking you everywhere, close to the Duomo. Try to get a Galleria ticket to the Scala, going there ca. 2 1/2 hours before the performance. A Galleria Ticket costs only 5 euros. As for the Da Vinci painting, you will have to reserve weeks in advance. You can do that through the hotel.
I have to recommend a restaurant nearby :
The Pizzeria tradizionale, Via De Amicis 24.
They have much much more than pizza, superbe quality food at affordable prices, very welcoming !
Have a wonderful stay !

Unfortunately the taxi that you provide is gave us the runaround it took us iver an hour to get to Malpensa at a cost of (90 euros)
Something should be done about this you are avery good hotel with great services however you choice of taxi was very poor. It destroy your credibility

Wow! Would return to Milan just so we could stay here again. 5-star quality in every respect - the room, the restaurant, the oriental rugs, and most of all, the helpfulness and quality of the service throughout. And on the weekends it is a 6-star bargain because it appears to cater to businesses during the week.

We enjoyed our stay, quiet and very friendly staff. Great breakfast daily. Close to metro. Rooms nice and clean, small bathroom. Rooms sort of dark. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet area, sad to see all the graffiti around town. We would definately stay again.

Nice and quiet hotel, close to the city center. The receptioner was very helpful and service minded. Also very tasty breakfast. However we missed a smile or two from the staff working in the restaurant. All in all a nice hotel to stay in.

This hotel is old, it is the hotel which comes well and makes age feel. But now, a little lonesome impression was received.
The room was not wide, also the furniture is everything old ones, but as for those being cared well, being something which makes
dignity feel, as for atmosphere was very good, is.
As also the other person says, breakfast very was splendid, enjoyed the Italian fresh cheese with olive oil and the salt pepper. Also the cappuccino was highest.
Ventilation of the room not to be good,
because smell is easy to be confined to the room, I recommend that favorite room deflection glance is carried.

Correspondence between Venere.com presentation and hotel presentation was even better than expected. I strongly recommend this Hotel that is excellent on every point of view.

Very nice hotel with an excellent price/value relationship (especially for Milano) perfectly located between Duomo and Porta Ticinese (both easy walking distance). Breakfast staff not too keen to work on a Sunday morning, but otherwise nice experience. Would stay there again

Rooms are very well equipped except for the choice of TV Channels. Breakfast is not as you expect from such a Hotel and Price. Hotel location is O.K and around 20 minutes from the Dome. Room is spacious and comfotable.

Although the room was small in comparison to rooms generally offered in the U.S., it was absolutely wonderful! It was decorated very classy and upscale and very modern. Had very nice amenities. The lobby area was beautiful and the front desk and all employees that I was in contact with were courteous, friendly and very helpful. Fabulous Complimentary Continental Breakfast in the mornings in a lovely dining area. Also had a very nice restaurant for dining at night and a small lovely bar area. Overall my experience was excellent and I would stay there again anytime I might be in Milan and will recommend it to anyone I know that may be traveling to Milan.

The hotel was lovely, reception staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and the room was one of the best I have stayed in.
The location was excellent approx a 10-15 walk from the main square (Piazza Duomo)and there were lots of very good reasonably priced restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visting Milan who would like to make their stay a little bit special!

A quality hotel but a slightly longer walk from the main centre than ideal.Rooms are good but short on wardrobe & drawer space. The restaurant is small and has no natural light and is therefore slightly claustrophobic.Breakfast & dinner meals of high quality but hotel lacks any ongoing quick and simple food such as might be wanted by guests during the day.
