The Crest Hotel was an excellent choice: good location (walking distance to Ocean Drive etc.), good value for the money paid.
The building is a bit older, but well taken care of and it has a fantastic Art Deco flair. Unfortunately you can easily follow what's going on in the rooms next to you, but overall we had a great stay and the Crest would be my first choice for the next trip!

The single rooms are a little small (no desk), but are quiet and clean. The hotel is close enough to walk to the beach, the convention center, and the Lincoln Road Mall restaurants and stores.

Located one block from the ocean and the Ritz Carlton. Everything is within walking distance. All levels of shopping are within a couple blocks (inexpensive/extravagant). Keep in mind, a lot of these hotels are older so the rooms are very basic and the bathrooms are tiny. As others have stated, you don't go to South Beach to stay in your room.

The Staff was OK, the only problem do i have was that i couldn't use my laptop in the building, and nobody was capable to tell me the way to solve the problem.

Had an excellent stay here in November 2007.
Hotel location was excellent - just around the corner from Lincoln Mall Blvd and about 5min walk to Miami Beach.
Hotel room itself was fairly small but very comfortable and clean so could not ask for more. Was an ideal base for exploring Miami.
If you come with a car - would recomend not parking in the car park opposite the hotel but in the bigger multi stoery car park (parking garage) about 1km down the road. It seemed safer and its rates were a lot cheaper. About $10 per 24hrs as compared to $25!

i thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Crest. This boutique hotel was conveniently located near my conference area and the Lincoln Road Mall. The lady receptionist was very friendly and accommodating.

in hotelammenities parking was mentioned for patrons, no available parking,no microwave, or refrigerator in rooms ,for cost of room per night at least continental breakfast should of been included not even a cup of coffee or a doughnut i could off stayed at a five star hotel for same price and get all ammenities mentioned above for at least 100.00 per night. your services need to be improved.
