The photo's were very deceiving! The hotel looks very modern on the pictures, but this morderness is only to be found in the lobby and the restaurant. The rooms were old and hadn't been updated for a long time.
The service was not very helpful!
They charge extra for bathrobes, slippers and even for towels.
The best part of the hotel was the view, especially from the restaurant. However, if you travel as a couple without kids, you end up with a table that has not that nice of a view. They are very strict about who can sit where!

I selected the Miramonti from the Web. My daughter was studying aboard with NC State University and wanted very much to stay in Northern Italy. The pictures of the Hotel and surrounding area were breath taking and the visit definitely sealed the deal. The facilities were fantastic and the workout area especially pleased my daughter. My family had a wonderful time and we constantly reflect back to our visit. I am a retired military officer and I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. You definitely get your money's worth.

A great place to stay for a family - we had a very spacious suite for the four of us. A couple of problems in the room were resolved quickly by the manager. The drive up from Merano to Avalengo was exciting, full of switchbacks up the hill (follow the "yellow route" and you won't get lost). You may want to compare the Venere rate with the rate available directly from the hotel to see which is better.

Great hotel in a beautiful location, superb views, helpful staff and a very good resteraunt. Also has a small shop and bike hire. Good value for money as well!
