HOTEL OVERVIEW

Hotel Riva Menton - Venere.com hotel outside Hotel Riva enjoys an outstanding location in Menton, half-way between the French and the Italian Rivieras, in the heart of the Baie du Soleil. Open all year round, the hotel is a 30-minute ride away from the Nice International airport, and close to the Haut Pays and several sky stations (as Isola 2000, Auron and Limone). Also, the Vallée des Merveilles can be easily reached.

Decoration of all guest rooms of this fully air-conditioned hotel have been inspired by the pays mentonnais, and feature warmly coloured camaïeux. Only noble materials have benn used: beech tree furniture and marble and granite bathrooms give hotel accommodations a unique touch of elegance.

The Riva hotel offers an outdoor terrace dominating the sea, equipped with hydromassage bathtub and shower (available from May to October) deck chairs and beach umbrellas. A sauna and a lounge bar are also available.

Was not made clear on web site that breakfast and local tax were not included in quoted price. Breakfast was €10 per person per night and local tax was €0.80 per person per night. Otherwise excellent.

The hotel is excellent located and the personnal is very polite. In general, it exceeded our expectations and if I would return to the French Riviera, I will definitely contact first this hotel for rezervation.

By car
From A8 highway, exit at Menton and follow indications to Menton centre. Take Avenue de Verdun until the sea side, then turn right into Promenade du Soleil.

By train
Menton railway station is a 10-minute walk away from the hotel.

By airplane
The nearest international airport is Nice-Côte d'Azur, 25 km away from the hotel. A bus service connects Menton to Nice airport.

Stays < 7 nights and no show Less than 48 hours before the arrival 1 night deposit will be held
