    I think our room was overpriced due to the Rugby World Cup which was expected. Area is dodgy, but easy to reach harbour on foot. Staff were helpful enough. Stairs were the worst thing. Lift was tiny and didn't feel particulary stable, the spiral staircase exhausting if up some floors. Not good for anyone with Vertigo or unsteady underfoot.

    The hotel is a standard three-star hotel. The hotel is situated close to (appr 5 min walk) the old harbour which I believe is the major tourist area in the city. The are a couple of streets nearby with many shops. The walls between the rooms must be very thin, because it was possible to hear voices and other sounds from the neighbouring rooms. The employees at the reception desk didn't seem to care very much for their job. Most of the time when I was there they were standing behind the desk talking to eachother, and they almost seemed bothered when I asked for some attention. The overall impression of my stay was although positive!

    Excellent location, within walking distance to the harbour and a reachable on by from the train station. Reasonable rooms, though the WC is too small.

    Although, there is no specialty it was a nice hotel and the location is also good. We satisfied the hotel and price.

    From Marseille Provence Marignane airport, take the bus to St-Charles railway station.
