OK for overnight stay near to airport. Facilities in room poor (poor tele, tea making etc). public phones didn't work. Be careful you get off bus at right hotel, there are two with same name one mile apart. Transfer to airport was OK. Single room was questionable value for £49.

country house was nice, but the fire alarm went off early in the morning, and woke up everyone, apparently steam from showers can set it off. The bathrooms were dated, but otherwise a pleasant stay. Breakfast was expensive.

we were given an executive room which was a pleasant surprise. All staff were friendly although they failed to give us our early morning call luckily we had set the alarm for our flight! Choice of wine in the bar was very poor only had house wine which was not of the best quality. Overall good for one night stay.

The hotel reception area was quite pleasant and spacious, however my room was fairly small and although clean, it was in need of a facelift. The bed linen was poor quality - cigarette burns in the blankets and the mattress quite soft. The TV remote control didn't match the TV so to turn up the volume for example you had to press the 0 button and so on. The bathroom was very small although functional. There were some funny smells in the corridors outside the room, thankfully not reaching inside the room. The hotel was full of families so no room for a seat in the bar area. I stayed only one night and left too early to try the breakfast.

The hotel, despite how it may look on the map, is actually within easy reahc of the city centre (10 mins in a cab) and the bars, etc, of Didsbury.
Our main issue is that we booked a tripple room for 3 adults and had a double bed and a bunk-bed!
The room decour was out-dated but the bathroom facilities were excellent.
Overall it did a functional job for a night's stay

Totally outstanding Hotel, just one problem from the lobby you could see the bar and the smoke was like a heavy fog(at 3pm in the afternoon)it was not an inviting sight, so we did not use the hotel bar, which would have been nice as we were looking for a relaxing night before our flight home the next day.

I was there on business. The breakfasts were excellent. Very good coffee. The Room Service food was very poor.
Good leisure facilities, though. Althogh the steam room needs updating.
On the whole it was a good stay. The hotel is not at all bland as so many others are
