Room size excellent. Location very close to train station and city centre. Price high but expected because of popularity of city. Some late night noise from inhouse bar was unwelcomed. Smoking was permitted in the inhouse bar.

Convenient location and very spacious rooms are a definite plus. But for the prices, services provided were very poor (esp by Swiss standards)- no breakfast, have to order breakfast in advance, no wi fi internet, not so courteous staff and even the daily room cleaning was half done.

The hotel is in a perfect location. The price seemed high for the size of the room and no air conditioning. It was very warm/hot so we had to sleep with the door and window open which is not ideal in a terraced room.

Quad room was a little small. Not a lot of room for luggage and four people. Great location in a beautiful city. Breakfast was not included and was not worth the money.

The location was good. A short walk to many restaurants, and Old Town. The staff was not very friendly or helpful, however. When we asked questions, we were referred to the TI office, and told they were just trying to run a hotel. They could not refer us to any near location where Internet access was possible.

Nice place, very kind manager, speaks several languages. The rooms are simple but practical, clean. The location is kind of perfect, just next to the old town (2 min by foot). To be recommended.

The hotel is in a great area and is very clean. The price for the room is also excellent, especially for that area. I would definately stay there again and would reccomend to others.
HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
By car
From the motorway Zürich/Basel/Bern, exit at Luzern Zentrum and keep the left lane. After the fourth set of traffic lights turn left, following the row of parked cars. At the end turn left keeping the right lane and driving back to the Zürich/Bern/Basel motorway. Before you get to the motorway, you will pass a BP petrol station. Turn right; now you are in the Pfistergasse.
From the motorway Interlaken/Gotthard, exit at Luzern keeping the left lane. Follow the signs to the Zürich/Basel/Bern motorway. Before you get to the motorway, you will pass a BP petrol station. Turn right; now you are in the Pfistergasse.
TRANSPORT SERVICES
Guests may leave their car in the public Kesselturm garage, about 100 meters from the hotel, subject to charges.
