The WellnessHotel Kurhaus Cademario is located close to the Italian-Swiss border, on Lake Lugano, offering a particular atmosphere, lying 850 meters above the sea level, immersed in fantastic natural surroundings.

If you want to have some wellness or beauty treatments is best to phone well in advance, because some of the offers are only avaiable in turn of two weeks. As we arrived unfortunatly all the "good stuff" was fully booked.

When we arrived the computers were down so we got lucky and were upgraded to a corner suite with a phenomenal view of the lake and Lugano. It was extraordinary! As the only Canadians, we were surrounded by European tourists which was fine since we know German. Many of the hotel staff don't speak English so being able to speak French, German and Italian is a real bonus.
HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
By car
From the A2 highway, direction Lugano/Chiasso: head towards Lugano Nord/Ponte Tresa and take the exit Ponte Tresa. Follow the road for Ponte Tresa until Bioggio. Once in Boggio turn right at the intersection, direction Cademario. 1 mile/1.5 km after Cademario turn right and go straight on until you reach WellnessHotel Kurhaus Cademario.
