Hotel Citotel is strategically located - its just a 10 minutes walk to the sanctuary, which was my main aim during my visit to Lourdes. The staff were very warm and friendly. I felt safe and secure even though I travelled alone. Though the alleyway to the rooms was narrow, but my room was nice and was facing the mountainside which was just perfect for me. I highly recommend this hotel to single travellers and mature couples. Well Done.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The place is really quite right in terms of location. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the grotte. The place is between the town center and the grotte that allows us to approach the hotel from different venues. The staff is superb and were very accomodating inspite of last minute notice for breakfast reservations. The managers and associates were very people friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and I would definitely come back to stay on my next trip.

the staff is friendly and very, very helpful. our welcome was very warm and their service was perfect all over our visit. the staff is more than just helping, they were interested in making our visit comfortable and enjoying. the rooms are spacious and bright. everything was working and very clean. the distance to the holy district is about 7 minutes walking, for all healthy people its a piece of cake. the hotel is just between the pilgrim-tourist part of the city and the modern part of lourdes. for us it was the perfect hotel and we will book this hotel for our next trip to lourdes for sure.

While the center of Lordes is rather noizy, the hotel is lacated at a quiet zone. Nevertheless, the distance to the sanctual area is moderate for walking. The town map they gave us was in black and white, which would be preferably colored. The employees are very kind.
It was rather difficult to find the hotel place, when we reached there by car.

We arrived a day early and the hotel was able to accomodate us. When we asked for directions to an internet cafe, they set up a computer, logged us on and we were able to use it in the comfort of the hotel. They were very very accomodating, breakfasts were good and it was a good location for the Grotto activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Citodel.

Overall, we would love to come back to this hotel. We got a handicapped room, which is normal considering people that are coming to this city, but still kind of awkward for us. It is nice and clean, comfortable, good service, nice location. It is quite too - the only hotel where we woke up at 9AM during our recent trip.

This is a good hotel with a good price. The room is spacious, clean. The furniture and linen look new. The bathroom also is spacious and clean. The employee is friendly and helpful. They provide guests buffet breakfast for Euro 8,- per person which I think a very reasonable price. I like the croissant and french bread, which consider the best during our visit to France. The only problem is location that you have to walk about 15-20 minutes to the sanctuary and with a steep hill back to the hotel. It is no problem for us, but it will be for persons with a baby stroller or people on a wheel chair. I will definitely stay at this hotel again whenever we visit Lourdes which probably sometimes next year.

I Stayed at the hotel from the 4th november 2004, for three nights i found the hotel to be very nice, very clean and the staff are very friendly, i went with a person in a wheelchair and was given a room with disabled facilities the room was excellent, and very clean, but the television only had one english channel (the news cnn) the hotel is up a steep hill, so if your pushing a wheelchair,it may be difficult, the hotel is about 15 min, from the grotto, a little further than most hotels, but its a nice walk , with shops & river all the way down. we travelled from pau airport and it took about an hour to reach the hotel by cab, the fare was 120 euros return. we had a good time, but would go earlier in the year as everyware was closed by six o clock, but would return to the hotel again.
