I wanted 2 cheap and cheerful triple rooms for 1 night and the Marial 'did what it said on the tin'. A bit tired round the edges but the welcome and cleanliness could not be faulted. Absolutely fine if all you need is somewhere to sleep with easy access to the grotto and surrounding areas.

When we first got to this hotel they gave us a room that was not cleaned from the people before. They gave us another room and this one was dingy and loud. The price they charged also was not the price quoted online. If you plan to go to Lourdes keep in mind that there are hundreds of hotels you can easily find one the day you get there and then have them show you the room. Our second hotel there was Hotel Sandrina, very close to this one that was very nice and much less and more fluent english speaking than Marial.

This is a very inexpensive hotel, and as such, doesn't offer much. I didn't expect much, so I was not let down. I was happy with my time at Marial. I would have liked to have internet access, but for 28 euros per night, what can one expect? I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't feel the need for a ? star hotel.

Molto gentile l'accoglienza. Le stanze lasciano un po' a desiderare. Manca l'aria condizionata. I bagni sono piccoli. Prezzo contenuto e ben ubicato vicino ai luoghi sacri. Da consigliare se non si vuole spendere molto.

The rooms had paper-thin walls. We were kept up by a baby crying all night, then vacuuming at 10am. It's a great location for visiting the sanctuaries, 5 min walk.

The hoteliers were very friendly and always very obliging. The rooms are simple but clean. First I was in a not so qiet room but I could change without problems. I enjoyed my stay in Lourdes. For sleeping and not spending very much time in the hotel Marial is a very good place. The typical french breakfast was also very good.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
From the A64 highway, exit at Lourdes, then follow the indications to centre-ville. Take the avenue Maransin (D914 road), and turn right into rue de la Grotte. The hotel is at number 77.

By train
From the Gare de Lourdes: 800 meters. Take avenue de la Gare and turn left into avenue Maransin. Then, follow the indications above.

By airplane
From Tarbes-Lourdes airport: 9 km. Take the N21 road and follow the indications to centre-ville. Take the avenue Maransin (D914 road), and turn right into rue de la Grotte. The hotel will be at number 77.

TRANSPORT SERVICES

You can leave your car in a garage close to the hotel, which is subject to charges (reservation requested).
There is also a public car park close to the hotel, which is subject to charges.
Furthermore, guests can park their car for free in rue du Père Foucault (second entrance from the property).
