The hotel bathroom was dirty, when we went to the bar for a drink, the bar tender spilt my wine, and kept going off to the kitchen in the middle of serving us. The room was tiny and cramped, the TV didn't work properly and the playstation was extra which wasn't advertised. I thought for the price, this wasa poor hotel, with bad service. The location however was quite good.

I stayed in this hotel many years ago and was happy to see it still had lots of character and charm. The staff were very friendly and did not feel like a central London hotel; had a continental feel to it. The hotel rooms were very spacious. Breakfast was very nice with lots of choice. This hotel is in a very good location close to St James Park, Buckingham Palace...Would stay there again.

The shower in the bathroom was not in condition. Unbelievable in this category of price.

We are a couple that travels quite a lot, several times a year. The Jolly St Ermin's is a very nice hotel in the center of London, near to Victoria Station, busses and underground it is ideal if you are touristing. The staff was polite but we had to ask for another room when the first one offered was not according to the specifications we asked for. We have been to London several times staying at the Park Lane Sheraton which was a dissapointment. This hotel is very expensive I think that breakfast should be included in the price. I wouldn't stay here if I was coming to London for a week. This time it was only for one night.

Very nice and friendly hotel with an astonishing lounge and friendly staff. Location is excellent, with a short walk to all attractions and next to St. James Park and Buckingham palace.

strange hotel, some rooms were immaculate others were shabby, our room had a duct tape patch on the carpet. Service very poor and lackluster. In serious need of maintenance. Great Location.

We would have liked to have some type of light breakfast offered; we traveled in England for two weeks staying at B&B, hotels that were large and small and your hotel is the only one that charged for any breakfast at all

I observed that the doors of the rooms are being slammed at every hours of the night waking me up sometimes at 3 or 4 in the morning. I think it should not be so difficult to install some proper damper to prevent the always present boors to slam the doors.

Nice location, old and outdated bathroom. water pressure was too low. ceiling above the bathtub is too low for anyone over 6ft tall. linen is also old. found blood stain on the flat sheet.

I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. You would expect the employees of a 4 star hotel to be at a 4 star standard. (You do not talk to customers as though they are 3 years old!) A lot of work needs to be accomplished for this hotel to be even a little bit good. Hotel itself; dirty, lift broken, worn carpets, wallpaper falling down, cupboard size rooms, shower taps didn't turn off etc etc, building works next door-customers need to be notified of this! If you pay for breakfast at checkin (Early Bird breakfast) is a discount but then checking out, no record of payment, so had a pay £20 again. Big big problems at this hotel!!!

I have used this hotel before at weekends but this time I used it for business as I was at a 2 day Conference at the nearby QEII Hall. As is often the case on these occassions I had been out with clients and got to bed late and I needed to sleep to be fit and well for the next days Seminar. I was woken in the early hours by a loud conversation in the corridor outside my room, between to ladies and in a language that I couldn't understand - and whom from the tone of their conversation I took to be Hotel staff. Having got back to sleep, I was again woken in the early hours by a lorry (engine running and driver talking loudly) unloading a Glass Recycling Bin full of bottles - very loud, very unwelcomed - and directly below my bedroom window. As the prime purpose (on this occassion) of my visit was simply to get some sleep - these events screwed the entire purpose of my visit. Unfortunately my interupted sleep made me late for the Seminar the next morning and I decided not to stand and complain at the Check-out. There was also a lot of scaffolding and maintenance work going on which spiolt the facade and appearance of this normally-nice Hotel.

Jolly St Ermin's hotel is elegant and the location is fantastic. Near the most the greatest city's momument (Westminster, Trafalgar Square...). The rooms are small, but I used it only for sleep, so the spaciousness was perfect for me. Employees are kind and public area is beautiful. The price is cheap and I think that if I go to London again, I will go to Jolly St Ermin's again.

A Nice hotel when you'rein the lobby, but not very well maintained rooms, although very clean. On our booking was made an error, but this was changed without a problem. Good and helpfull staff. We willn ot vsist this hotel because of the noise from airco's (offices and scottland yard, always on, also when it is cold outside!!) AND inside the hotelroom the airco was also noisy. It was awfull (as far as noise if concerned).
